Welcome Google [Bot]!

Post by Scott Gardener »

I noticed "Google [Bot]" listed as one of the users browsing. I don't think he or she's posted an introduction. Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing any posts from Google [Bot]. I guess they're still lurking, reading posts but still trying to decide what to say.
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

"Google [Bot]" is basically just the Googlebot crawler.

More details at: http://www.google.com/support/webmaster ... c=&type=#1

Otherwise phpBB3 just simply has bot recognition built into it.

Yahoo [Bot] seems to be just as taciturn as Google [bot.]
