Not bad stuff, you can also buy remover if you don't feel like yanking it off your face, though the remover becomes more important when you progress to even stickier prosthetic glues.
Yeah, thats probably it.

Oh, and a side note. Maybe perticular to Redstorm. How do you do them? I can easily make a mask in papermache but how will it last. I have no sewing machine abilty (yet my stepmom does.) because I fear the machine, its so scary!!! But I do cross sticth and have done accational hand sewing for fix ups. Latax or rubber sounds complicated but I barly have a clue. Has anyone made customes in the back that I could posibly easily do?

Thankies. :D

I don't use papier mache, but don't worry - I fear the sewing machine too.
I glue my fur on, you just need to be careful around the seams.

My masks are sculpted, moulded and then cast in foam. But it's a pretty tricky process involving hazardous chemicals.

Some people swear by chopping upholstery foam to shape and gluing it onto a balaclava (on an adult sized head bust). Fur hides a lot, and no sewing machines are required. That is probably a good starting point to experiment from :)

:D Thankyou. And thinking that you do costumes I'd imagine you would use a sewing machine. I like the texture and reality to the masks but ofcource I'd imagine it would be too complicated for me.

Well, I know the basics, but a lot of the suits requiring more muscle definition need to made in a way that requires no sewing machines.
Only the toony mascot-y suits need them. And usually, I get people in to do it for me then, because I know they can do a quicker, better job than me. I stick to the stuff I know and enjoy. Which, granted, varies from project to project - but it's part of the fun of being one of the 2 bosses. ;) I get to do the fun stuff.
The other boss prefers doing the bodies, I the heads. I'm the sculptor for everything. It works out well, even if we are a small company.

This always drove me nuts when playing RBG, someone had something happened, or plopped in a new scenario that should scare the crap out of them, and they weren't bothered, just acted so so.

now, I've got split thoughts on this.
1. If it's the type of WW that loses himself when he changes, is overcome by the wolf, I expect them to be a natural at walking/hunting etc.
2. If he retains his memory/personality, etc, just a human mind in a wolfen body, I totally expect him to have to learn to walk.jump, definitely how to hunt, probably hurts like hell changing, and the next day be EXHAUSTED. . .

JMHO :)

I'd very much imagine it to that a werewolf must get used to their forms. They will have 2 new forms to learn acruatly and well, the pain and how much the person is likly to freak out will not help one bit. Yet if the person is mentaly lost and they take on a more wolven mindset then they may be more likly to naturly use their new form.

Alright, so a guy gets bitten, a week later he transforms for the first time,
then after he gets off the floor and tries to recover from the pain,
he tries to take his first step and suddenly trips over his own feet and
knock himself out by hitting his muzzle on the coffee table.
now that would be a laugh.

it really would depend on the person

someone that has no idea would probly freak out from it because they have no clue what to do now

I have to say, that large image in your signature is quite distracting, Searif Bogard. By chance would you be willing to size it down a fair amount? If so, thank you.

I really like your avatar, by the way. It's great.

Yeah its pretty cool, but still waaaay too big.

so the weretiger is powered by anger,
my lawnmower is powered by gas,
and my imagination is powered by
by what sort of pyrotecknix I can make
that at the moment.

I guess all fuels work, it dependes on how
efficient and cheap they all are.

I agree...that picture is awsome...but terribly distracting...

Pic's in signatures are okay...but they really should not be any taller than 100 pixels, and preferably not be bursting with bright, eyecatching colors.
Long, banner-like pics are okay...

...but please change that pic for us please.

Try scaling it down to 100 Px tall or less. If it doesn't look good that size, then just leave it out.

And for my first post...

Post by TrotFox »

Firstly, I actually got to play a werewolf at a 'local' halloween park called Screams (AKA, Scarborough Faire during the fall). The costume was created for the fright which was part of a hayride and really didn't work anywhere else. For that one spot though it was killer and I was told that on multiple occasions the occupants of the wagon nearly lept off the far side. We had a revolving section of wall that had chains on it and was lit by strobes. When the wagon came up a man was there thrashing and telling the people to run away. Then he turned the lights off, we rotated the wall (presenting the wolfwhich was also chained up), turneed the strobes back on, and for a few seconds there was a wolf thrashing on the wall. Let go the chains, rush the wagon and scream. It was great fun so long as I didn't slide off the stage (only happened twice!)

As for the original question, I thing it would greatly depend on the amount of foreknowledge the 'victim' had. There would likely be a great desire to find a hiding place as the wolf instincts came on in order to 'lick the wounds'. Once recovered from the change it would depend on how much control the human side still had and whether the human was the type to bask in power. Also playing in would be residual pain from the change. If the regenerative ability takes most of the pain away I imagine there'd be a pretty strong 'power high'. Too many variables to provide a direct answer. Once the rules are set in stone it will start to fall into place. : ]
