Werewolf vs Wolfwere 2.0
a revised version of the Poll that hopefully makes more sense than its predicesser.
Basically which form do you prefer as the natural form for a wolf-human shapeshifter (wolf-human type character) in any setting wether it be horror or fantasy or even sci-fi?

I never liked Taurs. Extra limbs I can deal with, but the "L" shaped body, and double-chest/double-torso just feels so unnatural and so wrong to me.
...whatever.
I voted "HUMAN".

I realized that people into the chakat thing had also made Wolftaurs so I kinda added them last minute, after all if people will make them up and draw pretty descent pictures of them then there are people who would prefer them, so on the poll they went.
I have tried working out the biological logistics of the Taur design and in my own universe at least even with the off the wall things I come up with had the decide the transformation to one was one way and the biology really complex, but two hearts and four lungs could come in helpful, but the stomach and digestive organs I had to think were only in the quadraped part and the biped torso part was mostly muscle. But that's just my idea.
Like they say, to each their own.
For more on taur ideas from someone who has thought it out alot more than me look up Bernard Doove and his Chakats.

I voted human. I don't mind being a human, certainly there are benefits. I don't want to be another animal, but that is not to say that I wouldn't revel being able to shift to another animal form if it were necessary or mandated.
I answer based on my impossible desires, although a hybrid bi-ped is a cool alternative choice!

I went for human, as all my life the werewolf has existed as a man under a curse. In human form until the moon is full and all that. However much my idea of how a were may behave and live may have changed, this opinion has not. They may be able to change at will, and resist (to an extent) silver but they still exist, in my head at least, as humans who change into wolf or gestalt form. That's how I see em anyways.
Well be, thy one. And wisdom too. And grew, and joyed in my growth. From a word to a word, I was led to a word. From a deed...to another deed.

I belong to the school that likes to think that both humans and normal wolves can become werewolves, so I'd say it's whichever form the person has been born in.
And, because someone is bound to ask, I think that a cub from werewolf parents wound be born either as a human or a wolf (depending on the mothers form). It's as simple as survival; odd looking cubs might get singled out by the rest of the pack, and humans... well, I don't need to elaborate THAT, do I?

Do we really need the solution? Couldn't we just enjoy the problem for now?
