This is a fictional meeting last night between the directors, producers and writers..... some guy with coffee, and Akujiwolf sitting darkly in the corner, watching all with a narrowed eye.

FADE IN: SMALL OFFICE

ME
Okay Im really happy with how much response the site has gotten. Its really pushing the quality of this movie up and out man. But I wanna make sure that we keep the core audience consistent. the ones that are really die hard werewolf fans. those are the guys that will tell EVERYONE if they don't like it, and also tell EVERYONE if they do like it.

SOMEONE ELSE
So it seems the die hard werewolf fans are definitly the ones that are making the difference here, I agree, but I also want to keep the non die hard werewolf fans happy.

ME
Mainly the die hard werewolf fans are the ones on this site.

SOMEONE ELSE
Ahhh, I see, so do the die hard werewolf fans go other places too? Like places that just regular werewolf fans go?

ME
Dude, there are whordes of places for the die hard werewolf fans. the non-die hard werewolf fans go a lot of places as well, but not as often

The office door opens and some guy dressed in bermuda shorts carrying a coffee mug in one hand and a half full coffee pot in the other walks in, and stops in the doorway.

SOME GUY WITH COFFEE
Hey are you guys talking about the die hard werewolf fans?

ALL
Yeah.

SOME GUY WITH COFFEE
It would seem to me theres a lot of die hard werewolf fans right?

ALL
Sure.

SOME GUY WITH COFFEE
Can we call them something other than die hard werewolf fans? I'm really getting tired of hearing that, and Its hard to keep explaining that there are fans of horror, and fans of creature features, and werewolf fans, and then the ones on this site, that are the die hard werewolf fans.

ME
Yeah, I see your point. Well what do we call em? Werefans?

SOMEONE ELSE
We need something for them like 'blog' ....this is a new kinna thing we're doing I think, and we should really make those that are part of all this part of some kind of continum so we don't have to keep referring to folks as fans of the film, and then the die hard werewolf fans.

ME
Continum?

SOMEONE ELSE
Well you know what I'm saying....

GUY WITH COFFEE
Ohh, like the Borg Continum?

ME
That's the Q Continum moron.

AKUJIWOLF
Hey, lets ask the fans themselves what they would like to be referred to as. Maybe start some kind of new group name for werewolf fans.

ME
Fantastic idea Akuji! Get on it.....

akujiwolf wrote:That's true. We could always do something like:

" A special thanks to (insert name) and thanks to everyone at www.calypso-blue.com/ultimatewerewolf for all the great input" something kinda like that. I think it should go at the end though. As I said, this isn't a thank you to the general public. Though, they'll prolly stay cause we will more than likely do outtakes or something... but yeah, just toying with the message. Im gonna make the poll now.

he he!!! werewolf outtakes. I'd love to see that!!! :P I'm all about humor!!! Laughing is good for the soul!!!

I know the special message will go at the end. Like I said, it will be easy to spot a werewolf fanatic once the people are all gone. Whoever is left could just be one. :P

Other than Lunatics, I most like "The Pack." It's specific enough that people who watch through the whole credits will likely realize it's a SPECIFIC group of people, even if they don't know what that group is. People here, of course, will know, and will cheer at the mention.

Of course, if you say, "Thanks to The Pack at http://www.calypso-blue.com/ultimatewerewolf/" then everyone will understand.

Don't want people thinking its from that.

How about Naurodae? "Nauro" translates to werewolf and "dae" is just a suffix.

Regardless of any memories of the "gargoyles" it may stir, "The Pack" sits well with me.
By chance I happened to type the phrase "the shifted" in another post, and it caught my eye as I proofread it. I think that is another possibility.
...just trying to keep the ideas comming.

#@&*!... I've already voted against the "Moonstruck", but the way Anthony keeps experimenting with it is making it grow on me the more I see it.

Yeah I don't care for "Moonstruck" too much, it's not a bad name granted but it's too broad of a word in meaning I think.

"Wolfpack"... there are a couple of sports teams named that already, NC State and even a hockey team in Hartford Connecticut... it might be confused with them instead.

"The Pack" sounds ok, but everytime I hear it I think more of some biker gang then werewolf fans... maybe a werewolf biker gang

whats odd about some of the names is that I heard it somewhere before.

When I see "Moonstruck," I think of the movie starring Cher.

"The pack"...those characters from Gargoyles, and yes, some type of biker gang. So on and so forth.

I'm a home theater fanatic. What kind of name can you come up for that?

Maybe a surround sound freak. :P

They have a name for that group, it's "Audiophile"

Personally I like "Howlers", there really isn't anything that it can be confused for that I can think of off hand and can be easily figured out by none wolf/werewolf fans since howling is most commonly associated with wolves ^..^

Audiophile and then there is Videophile. Correct. I was thinking nobody was going to think of that. Very good. Note the word "audio." People will still know what your are talking about if you use that.

Hmmm...... how about "werephile" or "wolfphile" there we go!! :P
Naaa...howlers sound good.

Whoah......
Sombody made this into a poll now...and my suggestion is one of only 3 choices.
I'm very flattered but... No one has voiced any support for my suggestion of "The Shifted" yet, (exept whomever put the poll up that is. Again...whoa. :? :) :D 8) )

I think there should be at least 1 or 2 more options. Besides...somehow it would feel concieted to me to vote for my own Idea. That would be like...voting for myself for President. :?

Hmmm... so only 3, no disrespect but I really don't like any of those and I already gave my reasons... oh well guess I won't be voting then :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't popular meaning more people suggested it...

Here is what I came up with going over this thread, I will list the ones that got more then 1 suggestion and sorry if I missed any.

The Pack - 5 votes

Howlers - 5 votes

Moonstruck - 2 votes (voting against or mentioning it is not a vote for it)

Wolfkin - 2 votes

Lunatics - 2 votes

Please let the fans be the judge, that is what I thought this was for anyway :?

I can't figure out why "Howlers" isn't an option in the poll. I prefer that "wolfkin"and "lunatics" better than "the shifted"...and I suggested it.

Someone Fix please... :!:
