I have a copy too. It's a good enough story... quite a "traditional" "cursed monster" story and rather short... but on the plus side it's well enough written and it's got some very classy line-art and colour illustrations by Berni Wrightson (who is quite a big name in horror and monster comic art).
If this makes it sound interesting to you, buy it when you get the chance... it's not an easy book to find (at least locally it isn't) unlike practically every other Stephen King book (of which every local book exchange has a whole shelf or two).
And Sabre... That caption fits the picture so well... that's precisely the way I feel first thing in the morning.
