Some of you are too young to remember this. A breakfast cereal that had so much chocolate and vnailla in it you could smell it through the box. Wayyyy before theFDA stuck their noses in everyone's business.

"They'll never find us out here..."(implying that they are going to die)
Then a singing ice cream cereal dude shows up...
"He found us!"
Then he leaves...

Seriously, what the hell did I just watch? Did that sell food back then?

hell yeah it sold food! EVERYONE bought that cereal. But the FDA came around and started cracking down on overly sugary cereals ( bastards ) This kind of stuff was really prevalent during the 80's.

I think of sugary cereals as a treat or snack to have once in awhile not a healthy breakfast food, I use my brand flakes for that. There is a good chance I would have that cereal once in awhile if it was still around.

Yeah, that pesky FDA and the way they had to tighten their regulations so unnecessarily so that babies would be born with arms and legs that are shaped like the majority of people. Way to limit expression of individuality and stuff... What could they be thinking???

PS: For those who don't know what I am referring to, read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thalydomide I know drug regulation and food regulation might not seem the same, but I just want to illustrate why organizations like FDA are there and why they are regulating stuff the way they do.

I do not see how the song would stick in someones head.
It does not seem catchy to me.

Goddamn, this place is worse than the NFC message boards. I used to count the replies until someone threadshitted or posted off topic, and it took nowhere near as few as this place does.

It's still stuck in my head. Dunno how it could be catchier than the countless other cereal commercials out there.

I think I slightly remember it.. but as a child I was more of a cookie crisp fan. I'm kinda glad they got shut down early on... I can just imagine being tormented with that ad in school. as my last name IS Jones. -.-;
