Iron Man - 2008
I'm am so psyched for this movie!
Iron Man has always been my favourite Marvel superhero because of his lack of super powers, just one kickass armor with repulsor rays (technically it's three armours , but i'm not picky)
Anyone else looking forward to this one?

I'll try and watch it if I don't go in to N.S before it opened. But chances are, I will want to watch it as I have seen the cartoon and was waiting for the movie to open ever since I knew about it.
A healthy woman is much like a wolf: Both social creatures, longing for pack mates, intelligent, communicative, wild, gentle, playful, capable of great strength, fiercely loyal, territorial, and beautiful.

Eh. . . I'm undecided. On one hand, Iron Man was one of the better comics, but on the other hand, Hollywood's been making a lot of Marvel movies lately, so it's sort of striking me as another sign of Hollywood's remake-obsession. I already know the plot is going to be a cheap rehash of the Iron Man's introduction with lots of explosions thrown in for good measure. We'll see what happens I guess, but mark my words, it's only a matter of time before they finally make a movie for the Great Lakes Avengers.

I might see it with my dad, who used to be a comics fan as a kid. I'm pretty sure he mentioned Iron Man as being one of his favorites.
So, are they starting him off with the classic gray suit, are are they going straight to red and yellow?

Here's some news (wel rumour anyway) i heard on one of the movie forums i frequent
Rumour has it there will be THREE suits in the movie:
The Mk I: The Grey clunky suit Tony Stark builds when captured
The Mk II: The only suit yet to be revealed (if the rumour is true that is)
and The Mk III: The suit above which is shown in the trailer

I would too, but only if it's just as campy as the comics were. Still, they made Fantastic Four an explodey action flick with only the same amount of humor they threw into all the other Marvel movies that weren't supposed to have any, so if it was made by 20th Century Fox or some other major comic-to-movie provider, I wouldn't trust it to be good.Midnight wrote:I'd pay to watch that...Terastas wrote:it's only a matter of time before they finally make a movie for the Great Lakes Avengers.

How did I know they'd use Sabbath.....
Sure, I could have stayed, could have even been king. But in my own way...I am King. (grabs girl) Hail to the king, baby!
