Favorite Bands?

Post by SnowWalker »

I was inspired by the favorite tv show topic so here's a "favorite band" topic
So, what bands do the werewolf fans listen to?

 I'm probably going to be at the far end of the spectrum with my list, but here it is:

Barenaked Ladies
Guster
Jimmy Eat World
The Postal Service
Death Cab For Cutie
Kevin Hearn and Thin Buckle
John Mayer
Jason Mraz
Michael Nesmith
Neil Young
The Who
Rheostatics

there's more, but that's all of the ones i've been listening to as of late.

Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, The Who, Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Eagles, Styx, on and on.....

I like a big variety of music but mostly classic rock and metal, although I listen to country as well. Just keep rap far from my ears *winces* (with a few older song exceptions)....

Hum. Well I like these:

Trapt
Evanescence
Godsmack
Basement Jaxx
Orbital
Heart
The Beach Boys
Soundgarden
Linkin Park
U2
No Doubt

It's not really so much about the bands as the type of music I like. Anything but soft rock, country, and rap is ok with me. (With a few exceptions of course. I like rap by Will Smith but everyone else...nah.)

Louis Lamp (myself - if I don't list myself as a favorite, I don't know what I might do!)
Linkin Park
Live
Dave Matthews Band (the older stuff)
E Nomine
Sacred Rite (Biased I is, I'm working on a collab project with that groups' leader)
The Sullied
Oryx
Indie Music (generally speaking)

Waaay cool.

One of these years, I hope to at least make it to an Afro Celts concert. I swear, fans of that group are hard to find, but easy to make. As far as Live, I started buying their music with Mental Jewelry, and have been buying ever since.

Oh, and for any Kansas fans out there - The Sullied is the new home of David Ragsdale, the violinist in that group.

But, if I weren't listening to one of my freinds on the air right now, I'd probably be listening to the Afro Celts.

I just recently picked up the debut albums (in America anyway) for JET and Franz Ferdinand. Both of these groups are quite talented.

I like alot of different types of music. Just about everything from the 80s, 70's and anything that can be considered "Mo-Town". I lean toward romancy-stuff, metal, classic rock and older pop. I also listen to some classical music and have a fondness for soundtracks... But, in general, I can't go wrong with these guys

Aerosmith
The Beatles
Cher
Hole/Courtney Love
The Cure
Cyndi Lauper
David Bowie
Elton John
Guns N' Roses
Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
KC and the Sunshine Band
Madonna (Ray of Light and earlier)
Michelle Branch
No Doubt
Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne
Pat Benetar
Queen
Diana Ross and the Supremes
Veruca Salt
