Went to a relatives house out in the country whom had some other folks over as well. Basically helped light off most of the fireworks as they apparently bought a pretty big pack of fireworks, especially the larges ones that are actually used in city firework shows. So it was entertaining. Just sat around and talked afterwards for a few hours on the porch area then left (even though I was pretty much quietly listening to the whole discussion anyway. xP). But man, it was a very nice night: 65 degrees with a slow breeze.

Well, the 4th was an eenteresting excursion for me this year.
I was in the parade with a jazz band among other things, per usual. Then, on the way home, I was driving up the hill before my house, and as I'm turning the corner.....some !%$@%$! tossed a couple M-80's INTO THE BACK OF MY PICKUP TRUCK.
So yeah. If I somehow ever find this person, they will be in for a surprise.

I hope everyone had a good 4th of July! I just got back from a trip to the lake, so I'm a bit late. I know I had a good one...then got bribed into playing the Star Spangled Banner for everyone, not too confident in my guitar skils, but I sucked it up...well worth the $5.
