Michigan Dogman

Post by lycan94 »

Anybody heard of it?
Supposed video:

Looks like a gorrila to me, of the mountain variety, although you don't get a good look at it, the poster replayed "Footage" twice.

I seems to be an adolesant bear cub. Slightly smaller than an adult, but larger than the younger ones. They are aggressively prone to charging animals bigger than themselves, including humans.

The bear-cub (sub-adult) sounds right, and the gait is bearlike as well.

There seems to be a mouth scene for a few frames, too. Seeing the teeth would be a clincher.

Now, why is this such a crappy video? Is is enlarged too much or what?

Hm, seems like this was discussed before.

If I may add my thoughts though, I'd agree with the young-adult aged ursine theory too, it's just something in the way it moves. I've probably watched too much Discovery channel (I do love my animal documentaries), but the way it leaps-twixt-bounces at the end of the video just screams Bear. They do tend to move like that.

Possible. Would also explain the sightings going back years and years.
I still think that this could be a gorilla, although that's highly unlikely, as to my knowledge, Michigan is cold as Minnesota sometimes (and it gets/ is cold here).

I dont know. It could just be a bear but for a moment he looks like he walks a little sideways which looks way more gorilla. Bears usually lumber. Maybe its just a guy in a gorilla suit.

After asking around, I learned that the reason for the odd pixelated video is because the scene has been enlarged past its minimum for resolution; as in a postage-stamp image enlarged to, say, 11 X 14.
That makes it suspicious right there.
It's even possible that the mouth scene was added to the earlier scene.

Plus: We DID discuss this before, sometime last year.

First thing I though when I first saw it was 'gorilla'. Though a bear would to more logical, given the region.

I highly doubt that its a dogman or whatever anyway.
