System Sounds Music-- the product of extreme boredom

Post by Howlitzer »

This is the end result of multiple hours of boredom during a very long ride in the car with my laptop

I only used sounds from Vista and XP:

if anybody has watched the Youtube video with the music made entirely from windows sounds, you will know that the idea of what I did here was not original.....but the actual music was.

That's amazingly clever.

It reminds me of chip tunes, you may know the sort, 16-bit Commodore 64 and Amiga music, and some 16-bit console music was like it too. The short nature of the Windows sounds helps to give it that feel, and this wouldn't be out of place in either an old game or a scene demo.
