That's amazingly clever.
It reminds me of chip tunes, you may know the sort, 16-bit Commodore 64 and Amiga music, and some 16-bit console music was like it too. The short nature of the Windows sounds helps to give it that feel, and this wouldn't be out of place in either an old game or a scene demo.
