Elf
I'm working on a werewolf novel, while liking to stay up late at night and going to college. I'm going to be sleep-deprived when this is all said and done.
Anthony Brownrigg, I hope you have the best of luck with Freeborn. RedEye, I also wish you the best of luck with Wulfen Blood. And for a bit of luck for both of you...

Re: What are you watchin right now?
So, uh, I've got two recurring themes going on in my Noctem project thus far.
The first is that it's a world of opposites. The brothels are always on streets named after prominent Christian ministers, "going to Harvard" means being sent away to a maximum security prison, stuff like that.
The other thing I've got going (which was completely unintentional) is a sort of Peter & The Wolf thing going where all the prominent characters and locations have an instrument associated with them. It started with me giving the main character a weapon with a flute for a shaft, then it just sort of branched off from there.
The two themes combined inspired me to have each train station or bus depot occupied by a street performer, who A) is always performing with a classical, unconventional, or frequently looked-down-upon instrument (like a sitar or bagpipes), B) is always performing rock or hip-hop, and C) the character observing always comments is a better artist than the generic cookie-cutter (and often Paris Hilton-esque) performers of home.
I mention that because it ties into the video I've replayed seven times already. If I ever complete the book, if it ever gets turned into a movie, and if I have any say in it's production, I'm insisting this guy be offered a part:

That really is something else, and I'm reminded of those odd blue chaps who liked to make peculiar music.
Anyway ... the I.T. Crowd is on soon! It's one of the rare few things I actually watch on television anymore, along with Doctor Who, Screenwipe ... and errr ... nothing, really. That's about it. So, the I.T. Crowd then, funny show. Funny show indeed.

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
... whaaat? It has a time-travelling phonebox in it, that makes it worthy enough to watch!

"Monk"
I also loved Bill and Ted's clever use of time travel, such as getting the keys they needed and leaving them under a rock, and "remember the trash can." Of course, it's hard for me to see Keanu Reeves in anything else, even though The Matrix seems to have defined his career. Picturing him as Klaatu in The Day the Earth Stood Still is odd at best, though I'm sure he could do it a lot better than most other people alive today. Still, I'd like to see Bruce Campbell as Klaatu. "If something happens to me, you must remember these three words. 'Klaatu, barada... Uh... Klaatu... barada... OK, if anything happens to me, you're all screwed."

Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I'm watching some Supernatural, was never really that interested in that show, watched a few episodes the other day, and I think I really like that show.

Coverage of the inauguration of President Obama. That's fun to say; not "President-elect" any more, but President Barack Obama. Or, when he sneaks his Blackberry past the Secret Service, "Teh Prez."

Re: What are you watchin right now?
My A-hole brother that I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about now send this in an e-mail to my father, who in turn forwarded it to me because he's in denial of the fact that we hate each other.

I take it this means his relationship with his girlfriend is heading towards the rocks.
