Heroes - Season Three
For the Heroes watchers here, what is your opinion of season three so far?
I am enjoying it, I think this story line should last a few more episodes then move to smaller stories, dragging out story lines for an entire season is too long, plus blowing up the world each season cannot really be done, focus on stand alone, two and three parters could work, if not, then half season arcs.

So far there is enough confusion and angst for a dozen presidential campaigns, just in the episodes I've watched.

And I have seen every episode, I really am enjoying it, I still think they need to get away from this end of the city or world plot each season, and maybe not have to go to the future so often, I even like like travel, every other episode may be too often, they seem to do that so they can do things that cannot be done in the regular time line, so far we have four different futures are continue to be bad, season four of Heroes, we must save the universe, they cannot continue trying to outdo them self with the threat level.

I don't watch it on tv. I force myself to stay away so I can buy the set when it comes out and not miss any.

What happened to Micah anyways?? Did he die, or are we going to see him later?

I was going to wait until the DVD when I first heard about the show because I did not trust show to NOT end on a cliffhanger with no ending to ever be done, that has gotten old, however I saw the first episode and could not wait, at least the show is doing well where that should never be an issue.PariahPoet wrote:I don't watch it on tv. Who feels like putting in time for an entire series of a new show for it to just end on a cliffhanger.

Re: Heroes - Season Three
I gave up on it. Season one was great, season two was okay. . .
Season three's storyline feels like a bad fanfic written by a Sylar fanboy. In just two or three episodes, they took everything I loved about Heroes and killed it.

The writers need to seriously get it together, and write a giant list of every character's bio on the wall. As is, Peter seems to be going the way of O'Neill, and Nikki has already lampshaded Jonas Quinn to the utmost in addition to being stuffed in the fridge and put on a bus.
Yes, what I just said does make sense, if you know what I'm talking about. Take my word for it.

Yeah, seriously, Sylar is too calm now.

What were the things you loved about Heroes?
Maybe they will fix a few things for the second half of the season when the new story arc starts.

Re: Heroes - Season Three
I was a diehard fan in Season 1 and 2, but my schedule changed when Season 3 started, and I couldn't watch it on TV because of the timing. I never took the time to catch up online, but every previous fan has either lost interest in or turned away from Season 3 because it was just ridiculously confusing.
Instead, I've latched onto House because of my roommate.

Re: Heroes - Season Three
The original premises for the most part: ordinary people discovering extraordinary abilities. Hiro, Peter etc. used to be great characters because, despite their immense powers, they were still very human and very likable. Season Three, however, turned them into the X-Men.Xiroteus wrote:What were the things you loved about Heroes?
Which ties into my major gripe: Their plotline(s). The whole season looks like it was written by a kid with ADD: they had a million ideas that they threw at us all at once and expected everyone to follow. They made Sylar a good guy, Claire a bad guy, gave Nicky an evil twin, gave powers to Mohinder and Ando, resurrected Arthur Petrelli, received yet another warning from the future, unearthed Adam after he'd been buried. . . What, two, three hours maybe? There was no room in their massive undertaking of a plot for them to actually be characters anymore.
The only thing more irritating than trying to follow Heroes: Season 3 was watching it with my mother (also a former dedicated fan) continually interrupting to ask me to recap everything for her.
Season 4 isn't impressing much with me either. It's like they made it completely to sweep Season 3 away without having to resort to a cliche like "it was all a dream" or "Hiro went back in time and made sure it never happened."
