Plane Crash in Buffalo

Post by Gevaudan »

At 10:20 pm EST last night, Flight 3407 crashed 5-7 miles from Buffalo-Niagara International Airport, into a suburban home in Clarence Center, NY, killing all 49 people on board and 1 person on the ground. It was the first fatal crash in the US in 2.5 years.

My heart goes out to the friends and families of those on board, most of which are from Buffalo.
And everything under the sun is in tune, but the sun is eclipsed by the moon.

Surprisingly, I feel like this is getting less attention than the plane that just crashed in the Hudson and no one died. Weird.

Man, that's nuts. I'm amazed that those two women managed to survive a plane crashing into their home. Also a bit of a weird coincidence that one of the plane passengers was a widow of someone who died in 9/11.

It's because that was surprising because everyone lived. When planes crash people have come to expect body totals instead of hearing that anyone lived - let alone the entire plane living.
