Farewell

I've just decided today that I will be leaving The Pack for a while; I don't know if or when I'll be back.

Don't get me wrong; I've loved reading what everyone has to say about werewolves and posting my own ideas. I've had a great time here! The reason I'm going is because I have things in my life that I need to give more time and attention to, namely my education and trying to get married, and I just need to step away for the time being.

Thank you to all the crazy/fun/caring people here that have treated me so well:

Vagrant for critiquing my drawings and making it a lot of fun in the pack IRC chat when there was roleplaying going on (I'll miss seeing you at the fireplace of D'spayr )

Outwarddoodles for just being plain awesome and for being such a good artist

Figarou and Redeye for always having something interesting to say and being great Mods

Anubis, we live a few miles away from eachother; I know we'll meet one of these days!

Takyoji for helping me out with everything technology-related, especially Linux and open-source... everything!

Teh_DarkJokerWolf for the awesome werewolf a day drawings and being such an interesting person

Lycanthropeful for creating Versa (an awesome werewolf) and for your art and writing

I think I'll always be a werewolf fan, and will continue to consider myself a pack member. I'll leave my werewolf site up (and The Pack Wiki), and will probably stay somewhat active on Deviantart (at least for a while, anyway). Farewell, but I always thought it was a little weird whenever posts a long goodbye speech. It's just an internet forum... technically everyone "leaves" whenever they stop posting for any period of time. Same with "I'm back" posts.

I guess I'm just really attached to this place, and it's kind of the way I am to mark the passage of things like this... What can I say? I have mixed feelings--sad to leave, but I know it's what I need to do.

This is going to be a good journey for you, Celestial. You will do what you must do, and you'll become a more seasoned person thanks to it. Your reasons are good, they're rooted in growth and self-improvement, that's noble.

I have complete faith that you will return here some day, you'll just pad back in and it will be as if you'd never left. But you will be different, and as Midnight said, you will have many a tale to tell. I look forward to that day and hearing the tales you will tell.

Hey all, looks like it only took me about 6 months to come back! I just can't stay away!

While I've been gone, I've stayed active as ever with werewolves on Deviantart. I tried to move my focus to other things but just couldn't. I'm a hopeless werewolf addict! ;)

As for the marriage thing, I've dated and broken up with 3 different people so far, so I am still trying. We'll see how that goes from here I guess.

So anyway, I heard that AB announced some positive news on Freeborn; are there any other threads that are just to good to miss? Feel free to catch me up!
