So obviously this is about the werewolves in Harry Potter..In the Half Blood Prince Bill gets bit or scratched by Fenrir Greyback,(excellent name btw) but not while he's in his transformed form. It is said, however, that Bill will not fully transform when the full moon comes, but he may act a bit wolfish and generally strange. And the wounds Fenrir gave him will not heal properly .....
Now, would any of this be true for "real" werwolves and their victims?

.? That is the problem with you mortals, you die too easily. You hardly fight back. A couple of pitiful screams and a little squirming and you are done. I can hardly call it satisfactory."
What's the point? They got their Keanu Reeves now...

Lupin has a point there and I completely agree with him it all depends if lycanthropy is magical or a desease cause if it's a desease he would just be a full werewolf too.

I think what it was is that Bill's wounds healed, but there was a lot of scarring (when normally there is none.)Aki wrote:If the scientific Lycanthropy, the wounds would have to heal. Magickal is another case. And the wounds Fenrir gave him will not heal properly .....
The body isn't stupid. Wounds are damage. You heal damage, otherwise you can't function properly.

Ah. Some scarring makes sense, but for the sense of hiding scarring seems like something that would be healed quickly. Otherwise when you want to find Werewolves, you look for the guys with claw and bite scars.

It's mentioned that he's scarred a couple of pages after the incident.Aki wrote:Ah. I haven't read that far...
Well I was talking about Bill specifically. Since he was bitten by a werewolf, (and lycanthropy is magical) the wounds are cursed and they can't heal them properly. I'm not sure regular werewolf bites are like that.Aki wrote:Some scarring makes sense, but for the sense of hiding scarring seems like something that would be healed quickly.
