Changes

Consider this a forum game. An experiment. We're taking hapless people through their first change. Each person posts a sentence, and we try to draw it out as long as we can. If at any point the change is done, we start again with a new character.

Even though she knew many days had passed since the attack, the memory of the searing pain from the dog's fangs ripping into her flesh replayed itself in waking and in sleep.

Her gaze fell upon the window to the full moon outside; it seemed to glow a light shade of blue, its light flooding her bedroom.

"And the eyes!" she muttered out loud. Shed never seen eyes like that on any dog, or wolf for that matter.

It was so surreal, so nonsensical, but there it was, writhing against her rump, a pink fleshy nub of a tail.

She should have been scared, and she knew it, but everything just seemed too unreal, too dreamlike, for it to be really happening.

Naomi lifted one hand up to find a fine matting of fur growing on the back of it, the nails darkening and lengthing as they became claws, her palm becomeing calessed and puffy.

Her body began, strange as it sounds, to feel incredibly itchy. The itch distracted her from the pain long enough to shed her clothes. In spite of herself, she wanted to fully see how her body was changing, morbid curiousity spurring her on. The itch, she realized, was from her clothes, rubbing against the fur slowly pushing out from her skin, the color and texture dark and smooth.

She then felt her jaw begin to ache even more now, but not just from her teeth, this was something else. Looking back in the mirror, Naomi was almost horrified when she saw her face begin to reshape and extend into what looked like a muzzle.
