Yoshi's Story
Random person: But...that game is old! Why are you bringing it up now?
Me: 'Cuz I feel like it. *tosses nuclear duckie at the random person*
On a semi-unrelated note, I love Yoshies! They're so cute!
...What's the plural for "Yoshi" anyway? Yoshies or Yoshis? I think it's "Yoshis", but I tend to use the other spelling.
Mmmkay so I felt like digging up my copy of Yoshi's Story and playing it again. I looked up a few things online, and found instructions on how to get a purple Yoshi, and even Boshi. What I want to know is are they really in the game or is it just bogus?
The purple Yoshi would make sense, not sure about Boshi though. Why? Check out their shoes.
Yoshi - Shoes
Green - Red
Blue - Pink
Lt. blue - Purple
Red - Blue
Yellow - Green
Pink - Yellow
Black - White
White - Lt. blue
Going by this then, there's a purple Yoshi in there somewhere. Probably has black shoes too. Have any of you ever gotten him?

On that Smash Bros. game i fight Pikachu as Yoshi, its very unfair, Yoshi is far supirior.

Yoshi's Island was really cool. Except, wasn't that the one with that annoying child? I hated that kid. That was one good thing about Yoshi's Story, there was no baby. (Correct me if I've got my games confused).Morkulv wrote:I liked Yoshi's Island better. I completed Yoshi's Story within one afternoon.
What, may I ask, is Boshi?

...but now, as I grow older, I find that I enjoy sweet, happy, cute things more and more.

Yoshi Story is a game that is sorely missed in my collection.
...I intend to correct that error in the near future.

-Whenever it is available, I play FPS games in "paintball" mode, or set the 'Blood/Gore' setting to Off.
-I am one of the few people in the world lame enough to learn and use the "Freindship" finishing moves in the classic Mortal Kombat games.
-I will often play WaveRace64 just to hear the super-enthusiastic announcer cheer me on.
-and even though I don't own the game (yet), I've played Yoshi Story, loved it, and hum the bubbly, happy-happy music to myself when I am bored.
...obviously, I can't speak for both of us, but I find it much more satifying to be Jolly than Evil.I didn't used to be like this...I've just grown into it.
But that's just me...
I am such a DORK

So I assume no one's gotten either of them?
Boshi is a character from Super Mario RPG. He's a blue Yoshi with clawed feet and big red spikes on his neck. He wears sunglasses too if I remember right.Excelsia wrote:What, may I ask, is Boshi?
That's not lame. I used to do that too. (Of course...the only one I actually remembered without looking at the paper to see the button combination was Sindel's. I can't really do anything with Mortal Kombat anymore, I've forgotten all of it and lost the papers with all the moves.) I thought they were amusing, like the Babality finishers. (Those huge glasses on Johnny Cage cracked me up.)Vuldari wrote:-I am one of the few people in the world lame enough to learn and use the "Freindship" finishing moves in the classic Mortal Kombat games.
