Haha, thats funny. :D I can see why they banned it though.

Just like the first XBox-commercial.

I'm suprised that commercial is banned.

Compare that to this one from Nintendo.

I really liked that first comercial, but that Nintendo one... is that real? I think it's hilarious.

I guess I can see why they'd ban it. They certainly went over the top with the cinematics and the stunt falling. . . The guy on his cell phone made it funny though.

As for the Nintendo commercial. . .

Umm. . .

Well. . .

I thought the X-Box commercial was no worse than many that are being aired. For that matter, it's pretty obvious that no one is actually getting hurt; we see the person falling off the edge being saved by a bungee cord. We see a lot of other commercials that say or imply real violence.

Heck, we see at least one commercial out there where a guy gets crushed by a gigantic beer can just for being a gentleman contacting his wife instead of an obnoxious guy out running around, and a guy getting thrown across a locker room because he eats a sensible diet. The takehome message of these ads, if they aren't about violence per se, is that men are supposed to be like the obnoxious football jock in the eighties teen movies.

(For the record, most football players aren't that way, any more than cheerleaders being ditzes or werewolves bloodthirsty mindless beasts or basketball stars.)
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I don't quite get why that X-box one was banned. The Nintendo one is in terribly bad taste, but that play gunfight one is AWESOME.

I've totally done that with my friends before. (Granted, we were all about 9 years old at the time, but still...)

A really annoying thing just happened. I think it may have been related my my sneaky actions, but it's frustrating none the less.

I was backtracking the loop holes in the HTML code of the website hosting the X-box commercial so I could save the video to my hard drive, when Firefox crashed...or something. When I started it up again, all of my settings and bookmarks were gone. (I had ALOT of bookmarks) Now I will have to try to find all of those websites again...and some I will likely completely forget the existannce of.
Image

...on the bright side, I DID manage to illegaly snag the video clip off the website.

You might want to try closing and re-opening firefox again. Sometimes it starts up in 'Amnesia' mode like that.

I noticed that too!

I thought the Xbox one was awesome! I'd do it too if people would actually play along  There wasn't any blood or anything and the guy on the cell phone made it hilarious.

That Nintendo one was kinda wrong though...

It's hard for me to put in words but I can easily see how the X-box commericial was banned. Firstly there wasn't an X-box in the whole commercial and I can literally imagine that people literally WOULD fight for a 360. It's almost as if the director was just releasing his inner child.

I never knew the Gameboy Mini doubled as a... *gasps*sex toy.

Odd, I did the same thing and it worked fine. Either you are not doing it the same way I am, or it's just some random crapout
