In the final hours of 2005, the first elimination-style golf tournament took place in the IRC chatroom. Because nobody knew that it was going to happen, participation wasn't really large. However, I felt, since I hosted the competition, that it falls on me to report the results.
At the end of each game, whomever scores the lowest gets booted, unless they went over 1,000 yards. The rules for this game are already somewhere online, though you can ask anyone who plays how it goes.
Vilkacis got kicked out after the first game. He started strong, and finished kinda weak.
Baphnedia got his arse handed to him in game two.
Ralith won the tournament, and then put his hockey stick away for next time.
