mechwarrior should be battlefield

Has anyone else played both Mechwarrior and Battlefield and wished we could get Battlefield: 3064, or similar- battlefield + Mechwarrior? Methinks this would be a truly awesome game...

For those who don't know, Mechwarrior is where you pilot giant killing machines (Info on 'Mechs). You can't get out, and you have several other 'mechs with you (you don't need to get out because there's no empty 'mechs lying around). You attack other 'mechs, tanks, planes, turrets, and buildings, in various missions. There's an entire universe called Battletech, complete with books, nerds, and all, but it's a kinda older universe, and not many people really know about it. It's still frikken cool, though- Who dosn't like big things that go splodey?

And battlefield is... well, duh.

So Battlefield: 3064 would be Battlefield, with Tanks, 'Mechs, Aeroplanes (yeah, they're called Aeroplanes in Battletech, even though they don't need air-they can fight in space, too. So, why 'aero'? Eh, whatever) and the infantry would be Elementals. This game would get more drool (from my brothers and I) than TES IV: Oblivion, Heroes of Might and Magic 5 (yeah, Ubisoft is making HOMM5, wheee!), and a spankin' new graphics card combined!

But Microsoft seems to have run Mechwarrior through it's paces and its been dropped, pretty much- after Mechwarrior, Mechwarrior 2, Meachearrior 2: Mercenaries, Mechwarrior 3, Mechwarrior 4, Mechwarrior 4: Black Knight, Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries, Mechassault, Mechcommander, Mechcommander: Gold, and Mechcommander 2, if they make Mechsomething whateveritwasplusone, it'll just be Mechwarrior 4 with some new missions, really. So Battlefield: 3064 would end up being really new and innovative and FUN.

(for you slow people, *coughcoughmecough* Battlefield:3064 is not a real game, it's not coming out, this is just a fantasy. *winks*)
