Coca-cola slide show

Post by Figarou »

Since I have a home theater, I like to feel like I'm at the theaters. Before I start the movie, I show a Coca-cola slide show. Its almost like the ones you see in the theater.

Here is a video preview

MPEG 1 Low quality 24MB

Very pretty...
I remain puzzled over why you don't make a small fortune making the previews for movies.

Naaa..this is for home theater. And I can't make any money off of this. Why? Because Coca-Cola is a registered TM. But I can do this for free for whoever wants one for thier home theater!!

Yup Yup!! :D

But there is more than just a Coca-Cola slide show. As you saw in the preview, I also added a Dolby trailer. I can also add upcoming movie trailers. Then after that, I add a customized "Welcome" intro for my home theater.

I can make my own Coca-Cola slide show, but I don't have the program to do my own "Welcome" intro. Someone else did that for me.

Here is a sample if you like to look at it.

Welcome intro

I forgot to mention something. The "MPEG2" should play in the Windows media player. It plays in mine. Also if you have WinDVD or some other program that plays DVDs on your PC, try opening the MPEG2 file in that.

Hah! That's neat. I watched it on fullscreen. Eye candy that is. I like sparkly colors :D It's just like a real movie intro. It must be awesome to have your own private movie theater. The ambience of a cinema (advertisements and everything) without the shrieking crying children and those coughers who wouldn't keep their flu at home

Now you know why Home theater is #1 on my list. :D

Once I create the Coca-cola slide show, I also put a Dolby Trailer, upcoming movie trailers, and the Welcome intro all in one folder. Once that is done, I burn it to a DVD-R. Then I bring it to my home theater room and play it in a DVD player. Its that simple.

I think about doing stuff like that all the time, but thinking doesn't give me anything to brag about. My hat goes off to you Fig for going the extra mile.

With your nice enertainment systems it'll be all the better to watch 'Devoured'.
