WOW! If you thought that other prop was pricey, check this out - http://www.propstore.com/product_info.php?pid=7937

Personally, I liked the lifesized AWIL prop better.

I'd take it! If only I were rich enough to buy a suit the cost of a Hyundai Elantra with extra options. I consider Dog Soldiers one of the closest to my own vision of werewolves, lacking mainly a tail and some body fur. It's frigging close enough that I'd be quite happy to wear that to cons, or heck, while lounging about. Maybe for pub-crawling?

(OK, I'm in Texas; we don't have pubs. But, maybe the local coffee place--see if I can recreate the new scene in my novel, in which my character dreams he's a werewolf in public and no one notices.)
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I don't like it..To me it's way too worn and tattered. Now if it looked like the AAWWIL Werewolf Prop then yes and second, cause I'm poor :P

Meh, I actually wasn't overly fond of either. I still havn't seen anything that in my mind was a satisfactory ww in a movie. I'm sorry to say it, but Cursed probably came closer than any other, but they all looked alike and the tf's and plot were atrocious!

I think the woofs of Dog Soldiers looked like collie's to begin with. Not very convincing, just like this costume.

Yeah, my main thing is I'm sick of seeing rubber and latex ww's. Yuck! That doesn't even look like human skin, much less wolf skin. Just once I'd like to see a ww that is fully furred with a well-kempt pelt. Wolves stay clean and pretty, most humans bathe regularly and take care of their hair, why would a ww be so severely lacking in personal hygiene?

I loved Dog Soldiers, but it needs a tail. And looks like a collie dog! Haha! Well it looks like it has a tiny tail, but I'm one of those -needs a tail- people as Im sure we all know! A long big tail.

Yup yup!! With a big long tail, we can tell if the werewolf is happy to see you.

Because they're supposed to be — oooh! — evil and sick and depraved and cursed and as we all know, the outside is just a reflection of the inner state of being. And werewolves aren't supposed to be healthy, proud and functional. So we can't have well-groomed werewolves.

[/irony]

Myself, I'm still a believer in the first Howling WWs. But yeah, they all could use counterbalancing tails.

That is definitely the best wolfhead I've seen anywhere. If it was black and had poseable ears, I would SO be saving up for it.

That was an ok movie. I'm just hoping the werewolves on Freeborn will be better, but i'm sure they will since the director asked us for our opinion.
By the way, what is happening with Freeborn?? :?
I know when the pack first started and the idea for Freeborn, but what is Brownrigg doing now??
I just became a member of The Pack on Sunday, so i'm still having a little trouble catching up on the current events( and i'm having trouble finding my way).
So whats going on with the movie now?? I hope none of you miscontrue all this. :D :howl: :oo
