I will pray for him. To whatever's out there; to Mother Nature to let him live. If he is a good person of good heart, I'm assuming so, then She will try her hardest. For now though, you can really be with him; making him laugh and feeling good about himself and knowing you love him will aid him a lot; he will be able to wait longer with less pain, high hopes and laughter is amazing medicine. You could also try calling (If you're into this stuff) a spirit animal or totem or something to look after him.
