Over The Hedge
The combination of Dreamworks Animation and double-shot coffee strikes again:

The whole bit on "the food culture" won me over -- I'll definitely be seeing this.

I laughed also.
After seeing those clips, I'm thinking of watching this film in the theater instead of waiting for the DVD.

OK, I'm not good at giving reviews. So I'm going to tell it like it is!!
I went to go see "Over the Hedge" and I LOVED IT!!
Lots of laughs!! Its worth the $8.25 I paid for admission!! But the small popcorn and small soda was NOT worth the $8.00!!
Go see this film!! You'll laugh!! Then you'll cry. (Yes, there is a sad part in the film.) (No, I didn't cry like this. ---> My eyes became a bit watery after seeing that scene though.) Then you'll laugh some more!!!
I recommend seeing it!!
Ok, thats my review.

I saw it too, on friday.
Two thumbs up...fun from beginning to end. It's an entertaining story filled with great characters and a healthy sprinkling of over-the-top cartoony action gags that guarantee that you are never bored for a minute.
My Favorite characters would have to be RJ, Hammie and the baby Hedgehogs.
If you like cartoons...if you like animals... or if you just like to laugh, I HIGHLY reccomend this movie.

I was expecting this film to be #1 at the box office. Looks like "The Da Vinci Code" took that spot at $77,000,000 "Over the Hedge" is #2 at $37,228,000. It did better compared to "The Wild."
Since people are recommending to watch this film, its possible it could grab the #1 spot. But I doubt it since "The Da Vinci Code" has a big lead.
Still, I enjoyed "Over the Hedge." My favorite characters is Hammy followed by Stella.

This doesn't surprise me. It's like what happened with Madagascar last year. It was one of Dreamworks's most successful movies ever, but it never took the #1 spot because it had to compete with Return of the Sith.Figarou wrote:I was expecting this film to be #1 at the box office. What did The Wild lose to in the box offices? Scary Movie 4.
