Superman Returns

Post by wolfenknight »

The movie Superman Returns Comes out in theater today if anyone interested in going to see it. It will not be the same without Christopher Reeves though since he is the best Superman ever.

Shouldn't "Batman 2" be "Batman 6," not counting the sixties versions?
Taking a Gestalt approach, since it's the "in" thing...

I could care less if I am a "freak". I don't care what other people think about me. I am me. I am different from the masses of society in unique and profound ways, anyway. Being physically different would trouble me not

It was awesome.
Well, I thought it was. :D

I haven't seen any of the originals, but for my first Superman movie, it was pretty good.

I might go and see it again, but I don't know.

The special affects were great. hwlwnk

They hit the reset button on the continuity. Just like they're doing with James Bond and Casino Royale.

I saw it, and was pleasantly surprised. It is a very good film, and has some great random humour moments thrown in. Singer did a good job at the helm with it, definitely on my DVD wishlist.

And Brandon Routh does have an uncanny resemblance to Reeve in some scenes :) All in all, I'd give it a 7.8

It was a sequel to a classic series of films, following in the footsteps of Christopher Reeves performances...

...it had very high expectations to meet...

...and I think it succeeded.

I just saw it today, and I was quite pleasantly suprised. For once, I actually have nothing to complain about.

I just sat back...enjoyed the show and thought...

"...Cooooooool..."

Lois seems to have gotten younger since the previous films, but the actress otherwise did a great job, and all of the other casting choices were Dead-On.

The SFX were great, the story was, what I like to call in this case "Just cheesey enough", and Superman was...well...SUPER.

I loved this movie so much I saw it twice (I need a life don't I? ) I remember being a child loving Christopher Reeve so much and I feel Brandon Routh really did the film and Reeve justice here. I'd definately recommend it.

This was a Superman Film made for Superman Fans. Much of the charm in it for me was all the nostalgic references to the previous films, and the faithfulness to Supermans character and personality.

...honelstly...all this "Superman Sucks...Batman Rules..." stuff is pretty childish.

This is not a Superman vs. Batman thread.

...stop treating it like it is. :P
