Well.. I got some new news on this show.
Good news.. and I think some bad news.
I just checked the website
http://www.cybergraphix-anim.com/ and.. well...

Date: 7/20/06
Guardians of Luna is Drawn to Manga
Today Cybergraphix Animation announced that it is partnering up with US manga publisher DRMaster Publications (
www.drmasterbooks.com) to release a manga adaptation of the upcoming sci-fi anime series Guardians of Luna. The announcement came at the opening of the 2006 San Diego Comic-Con. DRMaster Publications has plans to launch the manga both domestically and in Japan.
The manga will divert from the animated series storyline in order to give readers a different take on some of the events which occur in the animation. An 'Episode 0' manga is currently in production, and will debut on the launch of the official Guardians of Luna website. This issue is a prequel to the animated series, and will explain some of the background behind the conflict from the point of view of the show's main villain, Constantine Voira.
"We are excited to partner with DRMaster Publications in order to expand on the Guardians of Luna universe." said Avi Melman, CEO of Cybergraphix Animation. "We will be working with some of the top comic artists in Japan to bring a different spin on our story to readers, and I'm very excited to say that there will be quite a few surprises in store for them."
DRMaster Publications is the domestic publisher for manga versions of such anime hits as Rahxephon, Lunar Legend Tsukihime and Stellvia.

BAD NEWS (I think): I checked the release date and it has changed. It changed from Fall 2006 to.... Spring 2006.
I pray that this ISN'T a typo becuase if it is... I suspect that the correction will be...
Spring 2007.
Which means that this will be delayed for ANOTHER YEAR! *growl*

Yeah, I like the whole manga idea. However, it will most likely be spring 2007, becuase they still don't have a station to show it on.
