Wow. Lots of suggestions for face-licking all of a sudden. :D

True, I'd say that a werewolf would do what a normal human would do. If theres trouble right there they're going to help, unless in a more wolven form. Yet I really doubt a werewolf is going to play the super hero game.

Thats what you think!! :superwolf:

Granny- "Help!!"

Superwolf- *flies in from out of nowhere* "What seems to be the trouble, maam?"

Granny-"My kitty is stuck in a tree!"

Superwolf- *looks up and gives a super growl*

kitty- *turns white, faints, and falls out of tree*

Superwolf- *catches kitty* "Here you go maam!!" Now I'm off to help other victims!! *flies off*

Now remember, my trusty sidekick, when catching a kitten or a small child falling from a tree or other high place, it is absolutely essential that you catch them with your hands.

That would be taking the whole canine instinct thing a little too far.

Although I could picture an equally comical scene involving a werewolf trying to drink out of a bottle without dribbling or making a fool of himself, or forgetting about his extended muzzle and getting more on his fur than in his mouth when he tries to drink as he normally would. Another aspect we tend to think of as purely a simian thing (or at least not a canine thing) is problem solving, and since canine's can't really suck on straws or pucker their lips to a bottle opening, it would be a really human thing for a werewolf to go to the kitchen and get a glass so they could lap at it without getting any on the carpet.

Well... Handpaws as the case would have it.

And yeah, nuzzling is always cute, and probably a little more dignified than face-licking too.

Human eyes are considered to be expressive because we've all been reading them for most of our lives, but nonhuman eyes generally take some level of prolonged exposure to be read. I'm imagining a wolf's occular emotions would be tough to read and even tougher to animate.
I seem to "read" dogs' & wolf-dog-hybrids' eyes well. But I've spent much time around them.

I've been looking for a place to try out this joke...

:evillaugh:

A werewolf walks into a bar and says, "Give me.......... a Pina............ Colada."

The bartender is about to make fun of the guy for getting such a wimpy drink when he notices three hot chicks come to the lycanthrope's side, offering him smokes, drinks, and more.

Once the wolf man fends them off and pays for his drink, the bartender says, "I don't get it. Why were they all over you like that?"

"Well.........," answers the werewolf, "you know what they say........ about guys with big........ pause."

look to wolf packs for the friendlyness it depends on their nature and level in pack.....the pups play and are cared for by the entire pack....there are those who are tolerant and those bad tempered the high ups and the lower servant types

werewolves are loving tender and protective to their mates and family (such as pups/ kids whatever) but if someone or something were to harm what they love and cherish a hellish demon is released and they become a totally diffrent creature

maybe in the movie the main charactor after a fight or something returns to his injured /scared human mate pickes her up carefully and comforts her/ cares for her injuries ect. showing an entirely diffrent side of his personna
let no sacred place in your territory be violated
