"What have you done to be hunted like that?" Alex was back in her gesalt form, she was graduly getting used to it.

"nothing they just ignorat people thinking that we are evil blood thurtsy man eaters"

Mark stood up and said, "I know this place on the edge of Main Avenue. It is a old warehouse where we can lay low. I can call my friend to come get us but we'll have to change back to humans. We'll head back to your place for some of your stuff. I promise we will go back to your den when it is safe. It is up to you Anubis. If you don't want to we don't have to." Mark walked outside and clinched light pole. He walked inside and threw his fist at Anubis. He said, "Isn't this fun...comeon Anubis fight back,I will kill you." He threw a knife at Anubis and it missed luckily. It was as if someone took over his mind.

"no we are not going back to the werehouse forget it they'll stay there waiting for us"

marked attacked me "what are you doing!?" i caught his fist "Snap out of it this is no time to fight!" i growled

Mark blinked and said, "What happened...someone like took me over." He backed away and frowned in disbelief of what happened. He said, "It had to be the medicine...it had to be." He walked over to Anubis and said, "Man...i'm sorry,It's not my fault I swear." He rubbed his eyes and walked around. He said, "I almost killed you,didn't I sir?" He backed away and kicked the moldy wall in anger. He noticed the odd looks on Alex and Dane's faces. He said, "What...What did I do?" He felt his ear and noticed blood coming off of it. He looked at the roof and saw blood dripping from it overhead.

"you attacked me and no if i wanted to hurt you i would have done it. that drug that they put in you made you scizo"

Curious about what her wolf like body could do Alex looked for the source of the blood drops. Her sence of smell, once active, seemed to lead her better than her eyes. "From that sky light, what could it be?"

"Yeah,I guess so!"said Mark. He appologized for his mistake. He said, "Sir...there is blood coming from the celing of this place." He heard the roof crack and he said, "Anubis...we have 10 seconds to leave this room!" He began to back away from the area towards the door.

"yeah i think that a good idea, somebody go up to the roof to see what that is?"

Mark ran up the stairs and saw the hunters. He said, "Oh..s@#$!I better back up." The hunters shot him in the shoulder and paw. He limped back down the stairs leaving a trail of blood. Mark said, "I.......I......I'm bleeding badly,help me man?" The hunters came down the stairs and shot the darts at the 4 of them.

Testing out her strength Alex clawed a hunter as he came round the corner, in one swipe to the face he fell with a CrAcK. "Woah!" She was supprized at what she had just done and felt a dart of some kind hit the side of her chest. "AHh!"

Mark ran over to her and put her on his back but a dart went into his shoulder. He said, "Anu..bi...s,help" Mark fell to the ground with Alex on his shoulders. He thought Dane and Anubis were long gone. The hunters came over and pulled Alex away from him. They kicked him and laughed saying, "Without him...she is useless." Mark was forced to drink some liquid. The men said, "When you see your friends,you kill them."

Hearing the laughing enraged Alex, she felt her wound healing much quicker than normal. Pulling the small dart from her side she lept into the nearest person and crushed his windpipe in her jaws, again suprizing herself, only to be dropped instantly when someone used a tazer on her from behind. Thinking: "Who are and where are these people coming from!"

Mark punched the man and was able to whisper the word,No. He limped over to Alex and put his arm around her saying. "No...leave her alone,if you must hurt someone,make it me." The men laughed and pushed Alex away from the area. They pulled bats out and wacked Mark with them. He held his arm up and a bat flew into it. Mark whimpered and yelped outloud. He crawled over to Alex and gave her a gun.

Her recovery from the shock was very quick, there seemed no limit to the amount of minor injurys she could take as a werewolf. As they beat Mark Alex took aim and fired, the weapon was fully automatic and it's kickback was fully unexpected, it sprayed the area infront of her with bullets. "Waaah! That wasn't meant to happen."

Mark laid on the ground coughing up blood from where the men hit him. He crawled over to Alex using the one arm he still had motion in. He couldn't speak because the men cut off his vocals when they were choking him. He looked at Alex and handed her the phone to dial anyone that could help. He accidentally threw up blood on Alex and he felt really embarrased by the look on her face. He backed away from her and leaned up aginst the wall scared and hurt. He was becoming dehydrated and went unconscious.

The sent of Anubis and Dane coming from nearby caused her to automaticaly howl, signaling that she needed assistance. Alex dropped the gun and phone, she didn't know who she'd call anyway, her attention turned to Mark. "It's ok, others will come, i don't know of any wolf frindly places."

Mark began to shake because he was loosing blood. He was coughing it up rapidly.Even though he was a werewolf it couldn't heal somthing like this easily. His eyecolor had turned from yellow to a orange color. He was basicly shuttingdown if someone didn't help him. He coughed up blood on Alex again and it wasn't in a okay place. It went all over her muzzle and shoulder. She looked like she was going to be sick.

i came from behind "you will not harm my pack!" i said as i punched in one of the men's head in causing blood to spray all over me. one of the men yelled "get the apha male!" they started shooting at me i picked up one of the mens guns and start to fire at them killed two i ran out of ammo there is only one left. "you picked a wrong werewolf to f*** with!"

he fired at me doged to stream of bullets but got nailed in the arm i came close enouf to rip out his throat with my claws. i was covered in blood

my attention turn to mark i serched threw their suplies found the antidote for the pioson that going threw mark. i came over and stabed him with the siringe.

Mark looked at Anubis and said, "T...hank you." He pointed to his arm which was really out of place. Mark said, "Alex is okay Anubis. I will do anything to protect her because I got her into this mess." Mark walked over to Alex and lifted her up. She had blood stains all over her fur. It was raining outside so the 4 decided to call Mark's friend. He arrived in a black sedan and told Mark to get in with the others. He drove to the werehouse. It was old and damp inside. Mark walked inside and sat down. The others followed and entered. Mark stood up and walked over to Anubis. He grabbed his throat and began to choke him. Mark was experiencing that sideeffect from the dart again. He was crushing Anubis's neck. However Anubis was much bigger than Mark.

Dane pulled out a Uzi, one of the Hunter's weapons, as he had taken the time to strip the hunters of anything of use. "Put him down Mark," Dane said, taking careful aim for a shot that wouldn't kill mark, but disable his right arm, and wiuth the silver bullets, it would take some time to heal.

Mark didn't listen,he was basicly being mind controlled. He looked at Dane and growled. He let go of Anubis and walked towards Dane with a knife. He began to run and growl.

Dane readjusted his aim. "Down boy," he said and fired at Miguel's legs. The spray of silver bullets, while likely highly expensive to the hunter that has used them, were highly effective, nigh-impossible to dodge.

Mark fell to the ground and cried in pain. He was confused of what had happened. He saw blood coming out of the wound and looked at Dane saying, "You shot me,why....Why Dane?" He laid in the middle of the floor unable to move. He noticed everyone looking at him oddly. He said, "I'm sorry,i'm really really sorry." He crawled to the wall and whimpered in pain.

"You tried to kill Anubis, then when I told you to back down, you came after me, sorry dude," Dane replied. He holstered the Uzi and pulled out some bandages, and began to treat Mark's wounds. "I have to wonder what in the f*** is going on with you."
