Howdy, I'm Ghost Song (as you can tell)

I found this website by way of google (as if there is any other search engine) when just trying to find diffrent resources for my Werewolf the Frosaken game (as well as my personal Werewolf story).

I've been a hard core Werewolf fan for...oh...fifteen years? I think it was American Werewolf in London that did it (John Landis didn't need computers to do one of the best Transformation sequences yet). But I've played White Wolf's Werewolf the Apocalypse for 10 years and then switched over last year to the new one due to the flexibility.

First and foremost I'm a storyteller. My real interest in Werewolves resides in the complexity of the characters that can be created when you throw in a dash of Lycanthropy. The internal struggle, and even trying to survive in a human world when your *diffrent* inside.
The myths of werewolves are intresting to me too. Especially when you see how maligned Wolves were all through history yet, thier cousins the dog is man's counter part. How there has always been this connection between us and its bred so much fear throughout Europe in the dark ages.

They speak English in Belize.

Fern Gully was an Australian rainforest. Note the dancing wallaby. And yes, there is rainforest in Australia.

Well i have to brush up on my Austrailian geography then don't I and Belizan facts. But you have to admit 90% of Australia is desert

Not really Fenrir, the middle of Australia is basically desert, and primarily Western Australia and the Northern Territory, but where i'm from (New South Wales) we dont really have any big desert things here, in fact N.S.W is home to The Blue Mountains, where the forests are :)

Belize was originally a Spanish colony that was wrenched away by the British, and that the remnant of the primeval Australian rainforests are in northern Queensland, and that the forests of eastern Australia are, for the most part, the dried out descendants of the original rainforests.
What's complicated about that?

ugg... i always make like four or five posts on a new forum before i see the "introduce yourself here" thread... *sigh*, well anyway

Hello my fellow werewolf enthusiasts, I am Lyco and i appear to be the newest member of this group of yours. Let's see... I've been hopeless obsessed with werewolves for about two and a half years now. It's strange... it's been so long that I don't even remember what hooked my on them in the first place. I guess it's the consept of them, ya know? Plus ima sucker for old lore and fables and stuff.

I read about Freeborn on another forum I was on a while ago, but only recently descovered just how in depth the project was, and how large of a community it drew. "Wow... a movie made to the specefications of the audience that will watch it." I thought. Such a good idea and yet i don't know if anyone untill now has acually done it.

I guess for a quick run down on me, I'm a 17 year old high school student from Ontario, who's intrested in writing, music, writing music, and is hoping to get into Journalism or TV Broadcasting.

Well, i'm looking forward to Brownrigg finnaly unvailing Freeborn, and also looking forward to taking part in "The Pack"... so cya all on the boards.

Well, first post here. "Hello"

Very first .

I have been reading threads here since last night.

How did I get here ?

Well, I clicked on a Live Journal name, looked at their information, clicked on a group to which they belonged there and began to peruse that. After a while, I found a link to the Freeborn page and therein found the FORUM link to THE PACK.

So, here I am.

I have found the concept of werewolves fascinating for ages. But, save for a hand full of products, have been mostly VERY disappointed with Film and Televison.

On the other hand, there is a fairly good amount of werewolf literature out there. That at least saves the day.

The problems for film and televison, as compared to literature, is how poorly written the visual media have tended to be. Instead they are drowning in cliche and convention, instead of exploring the gold mine of possible storytelling, that the werewolf/werecreature concept offers.

Anyhow, so far these forums are proving to be delicious. lck

*hears some noise about 'incoming' and looks up just in time to be boffed on the muzzle by a yellow rubber ducky projectile*

Or is that a real duck ? Hmmmm ?

*as the item rebounds back into the air, Garouda swaps ends and leaps aloft with gaping eager jaws and gloms onto the offending bird*

..... I wonder where this came from ...... ?

*gazing left and right, his yellow eyes drill through both Figarou and Wolfhanyou*

who should I return this too ....mmm

*trots over to Wolfhanyou and pauses, jaws parting to consign the projectile toy once again to gravity.*

"Is this yours perhaps ?"

*drops into a comfortable haunch*
