After cooking...
Ah, YES! Excellent.

1 T grapeseed oil
Pepper to taste
Soy Vey Island Teriyaki to taste
Method:
Heat a 9" cast iron skillet with the grapeseed oil in it until the oil shimmers.

Try this if you're tired but hungry:
1 Chicken breast cubed
1 Package of Microwave Rice-Chicken flavor
1 cup of water
Spices you like.
Take the cubed chicken breast, mix w/ spices, fry in a little oil until mostly done.
Add the water, and let it cook down to about 50%
Nuke Rice, add, mix, eat.
Takes 15 mins-max; tastes good, and thrives on neglect.
This was dinner tonite, with some fruit. Good, fed two.

Nothing's on my plate now...I have a...herrrrmmmmmm, procedure tomorrow [dodging the TMI bullet with aplomb] and we're doing the cleaning-out tonight.
Buuuut, last night I fixed myself a quick protein fix of chicken dipped in milk and whole wheat flour/spice mixture and pan-seared. I knew it was going to be the last solid food I'd have for a couple days.
I can't WAIT for tomorrow evening to come. Salmon and saffron rice followed by a See's chocolate egg I squirreled away.

Ouch... Hope The Procedure goes well.
That way of doing chicken sounds interesting... I sometimes do something vaguely similar with pork dipped in flour seasoned with onion salt and dried mixed herbs.

Finished the water-fast, currently in the "you can only drink water to keep your mouth from drying out" phase...but the good news is, I've only got two hours to go now...
Four hours to gustatorial FREEDOM!!!
