Indeed, but not everyone will be portraying their alter-egos. Some probobly would have to make an effort to be in-character constantly.

thats awesome.. i dont have much of a costume myself unless you consider my collar with my little tag on it. But hell i wear that everyday anyways heh

I'm not sure.....but this might be the last time I go. I wasn't even suppose to get the time to go this year. The reason is that the week I needed is blocked because Memorial Day is the weekend before A-kon. The boss doesn't want 2 drivers out on vacation at the same time during the busy holiday. I asked if I can get only 3 days for my vacation instead of a whole week. He approved.


Next year will be difficult. I'm going to have to ask the other drivers if I can have the end of May/beginning of June for my vacation. If one of them has plans...then I won't be able to go to A-kon in 2008.


I'll just wait and see.

I'm planning on having dinner with some friends at a Cici's Pizza in Arlington on Thursday. It's only about 10 miles from Dallas. It's on the west side of 360 and Green Oaks, if anyone knows that area. As for coffee shops, I haven't been much of a coffee drinker, so I can't really name off any good places.

Oh!! lol well it prollie won't work anyways sadly..I dun have a car an I am coming Friday Morn so yeah heh that wouldn't work to well, but we still got friday,saturday an Sunday!! Well there isn't a hope in the proverbial of me ever making it to an A-kon (unless someone figures out how to do one of those Star Trek matter transporters) but I hope all of yous who do manage to get there, have a great time.

i dont know what that is..but i can learn quick.

I've never heard of spades. Maybe it's just another name of a game I know how to play. My favorite game of cards is called "13". Very hard to learn, but quick and easy to play.

I played Spades when I was in the Army. Its been a while since I last played that game.

As for coffee....I'm not much of a coffee drinker. We could meet up for lunch/dinner instead.
