Laharl again perks his ears to the sound of movement close by. He lifted his head to see Leigh approaching him and then sit down close by. With a small yawn and a quick stretch, Larharl stood and padded closer to Leigh. At first he was slow and cautious, but when he decided she wouldn't harm him, he laid down right next to her and rested his head near her hand. Generally, Laharl wouldn't have done such a thing, but becuase he felt...safe being with these people, he decided to give them a chance.

Jarod looked out into the tree and then back to Edward. He thought for a moment, the trap might work, but he still didn't want to pull it off for some reason or another.

"So...now that Science Division bloody wandered off, you have any bright ideas?"

Leigh tore her eyes away from the dawn and looked to Larharl on alert incase he would do anything harmful. She then saw his actions and almost smiled. He was becoming a good friend to her. As he lay his head by her hand she didn't pet him like a normal human would do, she knew the power of a werewolf since she was one like it or not, she just lay her hand ontop of his head, it was a strange yet comforting gesture. She remembered Larharl basicly telling her that they were the same like it or not. That fact was becoming more and more clear to her. She watched Edward speak with Jarod. Surely Edward with all his knowledge and his ancient warrior like nature could come up with a brilliant plan.

Edward after remaining in silent thought for a time listening to Wynn and Jarod go on about traps and then Wynn suddenly dissapearing heard Jarod's voice. He was pulled out of his thoughts. "My thinking is that Hector would be to smart to fall for a simple trap. If we were to use on it would have to be rather complex." He seemed distracted as if he was unsure of his own plan but as usual his emotions never were shown. "Of course I always say when all else fails..." He pulled out his gun. "This never fails." He noticed Leigh sitting next to Larharl the two were seeming to become fast friends which was a rareity if not almost impossible for Leigh. He glanced over the brilliance of the dawn feeling the warmth of the sun greet the night forcing the moon to it's rest. He cast a look at Jarod. "So, what say you? Trap or war." He knew what his ideas were.

"You're giving me a choice, eh?"

Jarod carefully eased the silver slided beauty out of its shoulder holster, checking to make sure that a round was all ready to go. He quickly replaced it, safety on for once.

"Although others may not be so fond of my methods, so why don't you go talk to your friend over there and then we'll see what's going on."

Even though Leigh was a few feet away she heard what Jarod said. She gave a slight sigh. Why did the hard choices seem to fall on her. In the distance towards the trees she heard a twig snap. Her head turned towards the sound wondering it's orgin. If she had been in her wolf form her ears would have tilted forward on alret. She was jumpy thinking every little thing was a threat.

Jarod spun to the disturbance in the trees, hand inside of his jacket. He had had enough trouble the night before, he was ready for anything for the moment. The lupine part of him, the part he fought with to manage his sanity every day told him to see what was in the trees, the snap of a twig had set him on edge. But no, the human side, the smart side, Jarod, had kept him from wandering, it was a move that got you killed.

The silence from everybody else mad him release a sigh, it was time for him to go against instinct.

"I guess no one wants to check that out?"

As soon as the twig had cracked, Laharl was up, ears shifted forward, eyes open and alert, tail raised and a seeming low rumble in his throat that grew into a ferocious snarl. He was slightly taken back by the fact that he sounded so...beastly but that feeling soon passed as he realized he was standing between his friends and the tree line of the forest. Whatever was coming, he was ready for it. Be it a berserker werewolf, Hector or some sort of monster, he was ready.
