Yep, you were right on. :D

Yeah, but my hair gets darker every year, so I will eventually have dark brown hair..

So I guess if I were a wolf right now, I'd have light brown fur?

Ive got dark brown hair thats got natural thick streaks of other shades of brown but they're totally random and weird. I have reddish highlights (you cant see unless u actually look at an individual strand). And I have a few grey hairs. So I think I would be one of your average timber wolves. Grey, white and brownish. Like this guy:

Hmm. I have an idea.

Everyone, do a search for a wolf with a coat that's as close to your natural hair color as you can find. I want to see what color fur you think you'd have if you were a werewolf.

Like I said, my hair gets darker every year, so I'll eventually have dark brown hair. (After all, my eyes and eyebrows are already dark brown).

I picture a hybrid phenotype. a combination the werewolf's color, if you were bitten and your own hair color. All depending on dominant genes though.

Is the fur color of the werewolf dominant over your human hair color genes?

Wolf fur would be the same as their normal hair color right?

The hair dyed werewolf always looked funny to me, I think I only ever saw it in cartoons. But if the dye isn't bled out or the hair just changes texture and is incorporated as part of the werewolf, a werewolf with a full head of hair, I guess the dye could stay but would likely become faded or look like its less from the added hair and altered texture.

I think the color should be like our body hair.. not necessarily head hair. But wolves have different colours in their fur.. maybe around the head would be the same colour as our head hair. uhh I dont make too much sense.. it makes sense in my head :D

That makes sense to me, and pretty much matches my own opinion on the matter.

The full body fur should have a whole varied range of shades just like real wolves do, but a werewolves coat should in most cases use the humans base hair color as at least one of the main colors in its fur pattern, if not the primary shade.

IMHO

I think it would vary depending on a the hair and body hair colors, with exceptions of various dyes in random cases.
