The most common translation for the French Deja Vu is "I have seen/experienced this before". It's a not uncommon phenomenon. When there is a different time frame involved, Deja Vu becomes "Clair Voyant", or "travelling sight". The bigger the temporal distortion, the greater the sense of Deja Vu.
Sometimes, it's because of the phenomenon of duplication: that is, there are two or more places that are sufficiently alike that we are fooled into thinking we have been ther before. Hotel rooms are notorious for this.
There are other situations where the explanations aren't so easy; the viewer has definitely not experienced the thing before, but can describe things exactly--even things that aren't visible to the viewer at that time.
That's when it becomes Clair Voyance, or Clairvoyance. It exists...one of those things that aren't readily explainable; they just are...

What always happens to me is that once I learn a new fact I feel like I've always known it. I cant remember NOT knowing it. It's not really the same thing but it reminded me of it.

But the feelings I had were very very strong. (Go back a page if you did not read my previous post.)

It felt distant and far away while at the same time it screamed at me. I say it screamed at me because it had my full and undivided attention.
