Part 3 is very good, i like its flawless gameplay. It over heated my PS2 so many times lol :PC: (not a PS2 but close enough)

Part 2 was great but lacked a followable story and part 1 was a pure speed shooter, all very good indeed ^^

I Love the TimeSplitters Games, (well...the second two. I've never played the first). :lovebone:

(I have TS:2 and TS:3 for my GameCube. It's never "overheated", but I have crashed the game before...which is very unusual for a game console. ...Though at least one of those times, it was becasue I made an overly huge battle arena in the editor that used up all of the memory just in open spaces...with turrets everywhere. Heh...guess it was too much.)

The Game controlls drive me crazy...but the gameplay is so good, and the humor is so spot-on that it is totally worth struggling with the controll sticks a little bit to play.

I mean, Halo actually has a story (as does Half Life 2) which puts a perpuse behind all the mindlessly fun killing stuff. This looks little ore than the killing andf stuff, which while fun, gets repetative fast (Which I learned from Halo's flood levels.)

I mean, with sentient alien enemies you can get nice twists to the storyline. Mindless bugs? Er...doubtful...

But it looks amusing enough...
Of course it won't be a Halo killer(I wish) Halo is made for n00bs and n00bs outnumber gamers by quite a lot.
Only n00bs use the word n00b. :P

Seriously though, I don't think Halo or Halo 2 is for n00bs. The online is quite the n00bf3st, but any shooter tends to be like that online.
I stick to campaign myself, at least I don't have to listen to A elite, or a flood or a grunt shouting about how much "f*** pwnz m3!" when he gets a lucky shot while my sheilds are down or something.

:)
.that will be just as hard as halo2 on legendary.
Comparitively, the Halo 1 was harder than two. I found the health-bar in 1 was often the death of me, as the sheilds were slower than snails at recharging. Whereas in Halo 2 the health bar is done away with and the sheild recharge rather quickly.

...

Someday, I really gotta go beat Halo 1 on legendary....

Halo *is* mainly for n00bs. Don't be embarrased if you are one, it's not that big of a deal. I do play Halo on occasion but not online, it has a nice but extremely short campaign and co-op. The online. I mainly stick to playing offline as the internet is an all out n00b fest.

I love pulling the plug on n00bs especially in RTS games, it makes it all the sweeter when they're like 12 years old. I found a 10 year old playing the Dawn of War, an M-rated game; parents really will buy their kids anything. The game is pretty bloody and violent, I just bought the expansion for it a few hours ago, it's bloody awesome. I love the Imperial Guard priest with his chainsaw, sooo much blood

BTW, you used the word n00b

Heh, though I doubt that Socom 2 has Giant demons that impale people on the ends of their axes then drinks their blood.

Sorry to say, butI dont really like this game. Here we go. First of all, the game reminds me of halo, you being a member of an elite force and you are constantly being sent to protcect the grunts. (who, just like halo, die if the enemy looks at them) It is complete with an over sheild that recharges and this is the only way I did not die every two minutes. They bragged about their engine, Swarm, which true to it's name allows many enemys to attack you at once. They even act as one would expect with a "Hive Mind" picking out two or three targets and mass attacking those. You also never fight less than 10 bugs at once. As is normal for me, I started on Medium only to find myself way out of league. (especially on the protect the engeneer, aka dumbass, as he fixes the electrical fences. He couragiously runs right into the middle of about thirty bugs and dies repeatedly. Another bad thing, if you fail an escort mission or die, you have to start the whole level over. The guns are nice, I like the infinite ammo and the shotgun, but they dont really work well when you have 15 bugs surrounding you all hitting you at once. I am only 4 levels into it, but as of now, I would give it 2 howls out of 5. (I am clever too, I swear)

The graphics aren't cutting edge for some reason.. Nup. doesn't compare to HL2 or BF2.

in a mission, there is a specific battle where you get to beat 50 of these annoying creatures ALONE!!!

it dont look like halo at all

If I wanted epic battles I'd play Warhammer. =D

Epic battles from a first persson point of view. (I assume) I would have to go with Point Du Hoc from COD2, talk about intense.

The background really look blurry and 'rushed' on those screenshots. Like the ones in Half-Life 1 or Quake 2...

possibly the reason why I've yet to hear anything of this game till now...

Guess it's just not popular enough.
