Probably not but as a rule I tend not to rule anything out, after all, we humans only have a limited understanding of how the world really works.
Still I'd honestly be suprised if I turned on the news and they were talking about real werewolves. The problem is that, well, there may be plenty of legends about Werewolves, but as widespread as they are, we don't really see many claims of Werewolf bodies being found and whatnot. Okay we've had a few claims to that effect throughout history but typically they haven't stood upto scientific examination.
So the seeming impossability of such a shapeshifter existing aside, it still seems, somewhat unlikely. to say the least.

Of course I do. Just because science hasent proved it doesnt mean that it doesent exist.

Heh, as much as it would be interesting...no.
The whole shapeshifting process would leave some fundamental questions (eg. "Where the hell did all this extra mass come from/go?").
And sure, looking at a human forearm and a wolf foreleg might yield some similarities, but that's because they are both mammals. You compare it with horses, felines, rabbits, whatever. Even non-mammals like birds. Still doesn't mean it's possible.

Well it is still what i'm saying. no insult intended. I tend to look beyond modern science if possable. It keeps my creativity flowing

Why do people dismiss Modern Science?
How would you like it if your doctor decided one day, "You know what? Your left ear is a little lopsided and is throwing off your bodily feng shui: Ergo, in order to correct the flow of your vital spiritual humors, I need to amputate it immediately."?
Or, what would you do if the people who you contracted to build your house told you, "We were almost finished construction when Bob the foreman realized that we were building on top of where three leylines of bad energy pooled together. We're going to have to charge you triple the rate for having to tear down your house and rebuild it ten miles down the road, where Bob thinks there's some better chi."

I mean, honestly, what is so bad about wanting empirical observations and data?
Would it kill you to post photos?

ok...
look, have you ever looked at a dog skeleton and a human skeleton, and a bird skeleton, and about 30,000 otehr skeletongs form th same general animal families? we al have the same general framewwork and alsmot all of us have a skeletal strcture that is very similar.
but when you see a real werewolf... tell me.
A bird? Thats even less convincing then telling someone you can shapeshift into a werewolf.

Hoo boy...wasn't sure if I wanted to add my comments to this very...umm..."hot" topic? But here goes.
I myself have never in the 26 years I've been alive actually SEEN a 'werewolf'...in the sense of Figarou's ideas...fur...fangs...etc. I
have seen some pretty wierd things, and some that science or logic would have trouble explaining.
Forget about things that go bump in the night for a moment...and take an ordinary everyday example...the bumblebee. According to the laws of Physics, bumblebees
cannot fly. Body mass is too great, wing size is too small, etc. And yet, we have dozens of the cute little fuzzys buzzing around our porch every summer, divebombing my mom's Yorkie when she goes out to pee.

Fun...
Same goes with more 'supernatural' things...ghosts, vampires, yetis, Loc Ness Monster, Aliens...you name it, and someone will have an opinion of it. But ole' Willie Shakesphere said it best..."There are more things between heaven and earth, Horatio, than can be dreamt of in your philosophy. ( Er...or omething like that )
Dunno...I like to keep an open mind. Just not toooo open...or the aliens suck out your brains!

By in large true, though again I tend not to completly rule things out just as a matter of principle. Mostly just to be fair to people, even if inwardly I think they're most likely loony.

I go more for the 'point ot their glaring flaws" tyype of ruling things out.

In that bee's current size, yes it can fly. Make that bee as large as an 18 wheeler, no, it can't fly. The laws of gravity will affect it. The wing design won't be able to lift the heavy mass.

Hence the reason why we have a mind-boggling profusion of flying insects, and a marked absence of flying elephants.

I'd learn to fly too if I had a boss that ugly.

Everyone thinks of a Werewolf as someone who changes into a wolf under the light of the full moon. But do they actually exist. Most people brush Werewolves off as a myth. Physical change may or may not be impossible, but what about a mental shift. This is not just werewolves, but other Garou as well.

Well, I don't beleive in shape-shifting but I do beleive that there has to be some truth to it. Maybe a large wolf-like thing that evolved so it could stand on it hind legs for a short period of time...ya know, like a bear? Well, thats my view on it...so basically, I put yes. But I don't beleive its a werewolf, just a really, really big wolf
Psh...Shapeshifting
lol
