Where can I see that documentary? Is it an extra on some DVD, or do I have to wait for it to be shown on TV?
I think its only on VHS.
There is 2 up for bids at ebay right now.

I don't see how you can say that if the director that made the video said he turns into a werecat.
Really? it said so on MTV and on the radio.

Well if it was a werecat in the first place then it make sense for the tiger on the cover of thriller.

It does have a mane, but I've seen maned werewolves too, so I don't know. I was suprised how decent it was. Nothing like say Goldenwolf, but not bad.

I'm guessing that the original script for the video called for a werewolf, and that they presented it as such, but at some point in the creation process, Michael and/or the SFX crew decided to model it after feline features instead (maybe MJ likes cats?). Therefore, he was modeled as a WereCat, even though the script still says "Werewolf".
...pure speculation and theory, of course...

Brad Stieger(think i spelled it right), writer of the werewolf book, and rick baker (special effects artist) the guy who did the makeup for the thriller video both state (even tho brad is quoting baker) that Jackson got his inspiration from An American Werewolf In London, and that Jackson specifically asked Baker to create a wereWOLF transformation in the video.............wait for it.............................................................Ha! it is (or at least according to Rick Baker) supposed to be a werewolf

Its suspose to be a werewolf, but the eyes take on more of a feline look. Wolves and hybrids along with were's that i have seen don't have slitted eyes, better know as cat eyes.
*shrugs* but thats just my opinion...

I just took for granted that it was supposed to be a werewolf even though it didn't look that wolf-like, because NONE OF THE FRIGGING HOLLYWOOD WEREWOLVES LOOK LIKE WOLVES! OH, BUGGER, I'VE LEFT ON ALL-CAPS AGAIN.
Sorry about that.
