Kaze: Ghost Warrior had smoother, more realistic animation than that clip. Does Disney honestly expect us to believe that this was concepted at the same time as
Madagascar? They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
It's almost like they made this movie just to prove to the rest of their Disney employees just how stupid American moviegoers really are. . . And the sad part is that their probably right.

Question, did anybody else see this movie?
I wanted to watch something else, but ended up being dragged into watching The Wild. Madagascar was better, alot better.

I'm not sure, but if I'm ever going to watch this, it'll be as a video rental. If it's as blatant a rip-off as I think it sounds, I want to make sure Disney gets the smallest percentage of the money I payed to see it possible.
Anyone else?

I may watch this film once it comes out on DVD.
Whats odd is that its not doing well at the box office.

I saw it.
Overall, I liked it. Not loved, liked. It pales incredibly in comparison to Madagascar...so if you go watch it or rent it, try to pretend Madagascar never happened.
From my point of view, the wildebeasts saved this whole movie...William Shatner and whoever did the voice of Blag were just awesome. The wildebeasts alone make this film worth the watch.

I feel kind of guitly, but that just made my day. Let this be a lesson to you Disney -- America
can recognize B.S.

Hoodwinked made $51,348,411 in 20 weeks. Lets see if "The Wild" can top it in the same period of time.

Probably not. Hoodwinked didn't need to compete with any other CG movies.
I have a feeling that means we're going to see another blatant ripoff from Disney again. If this thing fails at the box office, their going to attribute it entirely to
Ice Age 2.
Never thought I'd live to see the day when somebody ever said Shatner's the only reason it's worth watching. I'll have to see how he did in
Over the Hedge before I can believe a statement like that.

Well, I rented it on DVD like I said I would. . . And I'm glad it's going to only cost me $3.14 after I cash in on an early return.
This was even more blatant a ripoff than I originally thought. They even ripped off the dancing durring the credits. And you can tell it was Disney that slapped it together because all they did was take animation right out of the movie. I'm honestly beginning to think Disney not only ripped off Madagascar, but did it so blatantly with the intention of pointing the finger at Dreamworks.
And the sad part is that it probably worked. *sigh*
