Ok, well its with me too, but everyone has a wolf avatar and yes I love wolves to death, but I wanted to express something that I like other than wolves.
What I've notices is that your avatars kind of expresses you a little bit.
Like with Joker wolfs avatar it shows that shes is probably the kind of person that loves to make people laugh and she is probably quite funny.
My avatar shows that I not only love dogs, but that I'm a playful, non-anal person.
Well, the kind of dog in my avatar shows that.
I mean, you can see things about people that you've never met, just by looking at their avatar.
No, you can't most time, if you could then you wouldn't hear about teenagers getting rapped by someone they met online.
Well, I won't be changing my name at all, so don't worry about that.
Maybe, I'm just being a little to observant.
Do you kind of understand?
I just wanted to express myself and something that I really love.
I didn't think it would bother people that much.
Forgive me of my rabling. Its just really late
I do understand what your saying though. I look at pictures also, so I shouldn't be saying anything.
Sorry If I caused any confusion, but the fact of the matter is, I'm going to change my avatar if I want to, sorry if it causes any confusion
*Sighs deeply*
I guess we're all going to have to get used to it

No one's making any negative comments about you changing your avatar, Anook...frankly you haven't been around long enough for me to notice (no offense meant by that whatsoever). I was just making a general statement that, if someone keeps an avatar for a looooooong time, and then suddenly changes it, it's rather bothersome since I've come to know them by their avatar. It'd be akin to someone you see everyday suddenly getting a facelift that makes them look totally different. You have no right to be unhappy about it, but still you are. Trust me. Once you've been around here a while and some member who you've come to know by one avatar changes theirs, you'll find it a little annoying.
Take Shadow Wulf for example. He's had that Underworld avatar for as long as I can remember. If he suddenly switched avs...well, that'd be a little frustrating.
However, putting a lot of thought into an avatar, and deciding if you really like it before you start using it, will mean that you'll end up making less changes.

Well, go ahead and change if you want to....it's not like there's some rule that says you must keep the same avatar. It's really more of a matter of courtesy to fellow forum members.Anook wrote: Sorry If I caused any confusion, but the fact of the matter is, I'm going to change my avatar if I want to, sorry if it causes any confusion

You've got me wondering where I fit in to the whole avatar thing. Mine changes pretty much every day.
Because your avatar changes often, we've gotten used to it changing, so I am no longer surprised or frustrated. I recognize you by looking for something anime-ish, which yours generally are.

Meh, I can't have the same av forever... It was time for a fresh one.
If you look at stuff a looooong while, it gets annoying. The same thing happened with Goldenwolfen for me. If you never change style or try something different, it gets annoying. Its like listening to the same song over and over again...

True, I try different stuff all the time, I draw natural looking native werewolves, muscle inflated uber werewolves, deformed werewolves, demon like werewolves. I like drawing any kind of werewolf, it just depends on what Im in the mood for.

I won't either shadow wulf. Go ahead and post them.
I really want to see them.
Renorei, I understand what your saying. I really haven't been here long enough to get used to everyones avatars, but if someone changed it out of the blue, then it probably would annoy me.
Don't worry, I'm not going to change my name, but if you do see someone with a puppy avatar then its me.
Even if I change it, just look for the puppy.
I will try not to change it though, so I won't bother people.

FYI, if you're not entirely satisfied with your current avatar, the best time to change would be now....before you've accumulated an assload of posts and everyone's accustomed to your avatar.
But if you're totally sure you like it, then cool! Also, the fact that you'll still be using a puppy helps...at least it's not a radical change.

It'll most likely always be a chocolate lab or yellow lab.
I sometimes change my avatar with new ones for s split sec., just to see if the new one is the right size.
One day I was looking at puppy pictures and decided to see if I could use one as my avatar, so I changed it from the howeling wolf one to the yellow and black lab one, to see if it was the right size and looked right.
When I decided to change it back to the wolf one the forum wouldn't let me, so I decided on the puppy ones.
I can't promise that I won't change it again in the furture, but if I do decide to change it, then I'll make sure to take everyone here into consideration before I do.
