The only problem I can see is that my mom has something against therians.

We've had a lot of arguements concerning that topic...
It's not much fun, considering all the figuring out I'm doing concerning therianthropy. (ie: am I one, wtf am I, etc.) :D

I hate group generalizations like that. Yeah, some therians are...a little odd in a bad way, but there are people like that in every group. I'd be willing to bet that a greater percentage of Christians are totally off the deep end. *no offense to anyone!*

All this talk about myths...What about you, Fenrir? You're just going to end up with your jaws ripped apart..... Having fun at the bottom of the sea? How does your computer work?

All hail....stan...

I vote Ilpalazzo as our new master. :o

Wow, dude. What a terrible comment. But oh wait! This....

...makes it totally okay! The fact that you insulted my belief group doesn't bother me at all now. Yeah. Uh huh.

Watch what you say. It's hardly fair for you to criticize or make implications about other groups of people just because you want to defend your own.

Anyway...sorry about the little mini-rant. I'm just so tired of people on this board bursting with negative things to say about my beliefs, and other people who share them. Frankly, I think the whole concept of therianism is one of the most retarded things I've ever heard, but you don't see me saying anything negative about those beliefs, or about the people who consider themselves therians. Well...aside from the preceding sentence...

So...can we just cool it when it comes to saying stuff about other people's religions?

Hey, its ok. :D

We all have our different opinion about things and we're aloud to share them.
Well, as long as that opinion is polite

Though it is kind of ify when it comes to therianism and Christianity.

Anyones opinion on these matters can easily be taken the wrong way.

For me, Therianism doesn't really bother me.
I'm kind of neutral on the matter. :|
I could care less if I am a "freak". I don't care what other people think about me. I am me. I am different from the masses of society in unique and profound ways, anyway. Being physically different would trouble me not

Well, in my opinion, I don't think anyone should verbally chastise someone, their beliefs, or because they believe in them.

Kiba, you obliviously started something and you might want to apologize.
Even if you didn't mean anything by what you said. :|

By saying this you irritated Renorei and caused her to share her negative
feelings on therianism, which inturn irritated Pariah. :|

This is why its hard to discusses these things or express ones opinion, because so many take how things are said differently and some can easily be offended

I never said that it did. The very fact it is an "obnoxious" sentiment makes it all the more important that I keep it to myself (except for this particular occasion, for the aforementioned reason), instead of randomly bringing it up in conversations around the board for no good reason.

I'm not normally easily offended, for the most part. But as far as people criticizing my beliefs...well, I'm just tired off it. It happens all over this board, and it doesn't do anyone any good, but it definitely does do me some bad (I swear that sentence makes sense, just read it a few more times). From now on, when people start biting at Christianity, I bite back. :femshft

Criticizing individuals or small groups who don't represent the majority of us is fine. But no sweeping generalizations!! :x

Its ok, I didn't misconstrue any of that. :D

I certainly understand your feelings and contentious manner toward this. I've been criticized for my beliefs too, but not here.

I mean, anyone who believes in something has or will be criticized for it.

Like us believeing or liking the thought of werewolves. I know there are some people out there that will criticizes us for it.

Its the same with therianism. :|

It doesn't matter what you believe in, someone will always be there to make fun of you or criticize you for believeing it or trying to express it.

Its really sad if you think about it.
People who hurt others because of their beliefs, wether its verbally or physically don't regret or feel any remorse for what they do.
