I've recently read Cycle of the Werewolf and Caynons. Just finished Stolen today and I'm now reading Howling Mad.
Cycle of the Werewolf has some really good illustrations in it, though wolfie needed a tail. Caynons was good as well but...odd. A lot of graphic sex and feeding scenes. Not to mention characters having sex with their children and parents. Loved Stolen, need more werewolf books from Armstrong.

Yeah, Bernie Wrightson is one of the kings of horror illustration and does an excellant job with Werewolves (He's the one that did the illustrations for Cycle).

Whoo, I need to do a book club or something

I can second that 'The Wolf's Hour' by Robert R. McCammon is a fun and interesting read.

As stated in another thread however, one of my favorite wolf transformation books is 'The Wild' by Whitley Strieber.

Last night I saw that the two WW books, 'The Promise' and 'The Passion' are back in print Both by Donna Boyd. I was really tempted to buy one, but I already spent all my money and I need to take it easy on the credit card I hear a lot of good reviews for em, so they are of interest

Night of the Wolf and Silverwolf, both excellent werewolf stories with a little romance thrown in

"Blood Ties is based on Tanya Huff’s internationally popular "Blood" novels. Now what is notable here is that one of the books in her series involved a family of werewolves. Now whether the Television series will borrow from that particular book, entitled Blood Trail is not known. But perhaps it will.

I wonder if this series will be released outside of Canada, or will folks have to attempt to get it by other means.

Another interesting note is that Kaleidescope Entertainment appears to be a part of India's "Bollywood", though this company has also built a reputation for filmaking to international standards.

Also, I would inquire, who has read the book "Blood Trail" ? I found it quite enjoyable.

Yeah I like the wereling triology and the prowler books they are good.

My father the werewolf is good not much of the werewolf in it but it is

good I dont want to give anything away but the family is messed up and it

I have recently just started reading a really good series called The Wereling by Stephen Cole. It's a trilogy, and the first book in the series is called Wounded. They're really amazing books....I would recommend them to anyone.

I'ev checked out Blood and Chocolate and my friend Edgywriter who is a new member here gave me the first The Wereling: Wounded to read. I haven't really had time to read, because of school, so i just randomly picked some pages to read and both books look really good. Hopfully i can to some reading this weekend.

I recently found a book called, "Seeking Whom He May Devour" I haven't started reading it yet, but it looks like it might be good.

What is the second and third books of the wereling trilogy?? I have the first one, but it doesn't list the others in there.

it goes from first to last.

1) Wounded

2) Prey

3) Resurrection

To me Prey ans Resurrection are the best Wounded was more of a setup

most of the book but still great.

'Broken' just came out a few days ago or so. By Kelley Armstrong; a sequel to her books 'Bitten' and 'Stolen'

"Night of the Wolf."
The sequel to "Night of the Wolf" was
"the Wolf King."

All 3 are by Alice Borchardt, Ann Rice's sister,
who writes werewolf books, not vampire books.

I forget which comes first, but I've read it. It's pretty good.

I'm TIRED of seeing that fricking EVERYWHERE.

Women Who Run With The Werewolves..,I reccommend the story " Boobs" to be found within..(trust me..it's really cool)

IMHO,
anyone who plans to buy
"Women Who Run With the Werewolves" should save the money
and buy "the Ultimate Werewolf" (a bigger, BETTER anthology)
and "Tomorrow Bites",
an anthology of science fiction werewolves.
(I love the cover quote...

My favorite book I own would have to be Werrewolves. By Elliott O'Donnell
Its not really a story. Its more of an informational book. Although some bits seem a bit off. its a nice read. It can be hard to get you hands on a copy. I suggest ordering online.

its has chapters like:
What is a werewolf?
The spirit of werewolves.
How to become.
And there there are the storys of werewolves in diffrent countrys.

Blood and chocolates and the werling trilogy are my faavourites,...mainly couse i cant find the other books anywhere

I love Blood and Chocolate, Ive read it at least six times and Ive even made my boyfriend read it!

Some other good books that Ive read are:

Wolf Moon by Charles DeLint (about a man who can change into a wolf who is being hunted by a harper)

Wolf Speaker by Tamora Pierce(about a young girl who has strong animal magick and a deep connection with wolves. she rides along in the bodies of animals, can speak with them and even changes into them)

The Werewolf's Sin, The Werewolf's Touch and The Werewolf's Kiss by Cheri Scotch (about a pack of lousianna based half form werewolves who eat evil people)

And there is another book that takes palce in France back when their were witch burnings and for the life of me I cant remember then name or the author..but it was a good book!

Speaking of which, did you know they did burn accused werewolves at the stake in france too?
