I can't understand it..I have never been banned for anything and I have never cheated on anything either. Just eariler today I was told there was a hacker going around by one of my friends, next thing I know I am banned..
I always get the bad end of the rope and I wasn't even doing anything illegal
I wrote them a PM back, but I haven't heard anything from them yet..What do I do..Why me

Scumbags! That's why I like smaller forums. You have more of a sense of identity. And since people actually know you a little better, they know better than to suspect you of foul play.

I still haven't heard back from them yet, but the site says it can be from 7 to 14 days till they respond, so I guess I'll just have to give it time
Perhaps some more e-mails? I dunno..Whatif it doesn't work? What if they say nothing at all?

if they ban the ip then you cant because if they ban your ip, they basically just banned your computer and the only way to get back on a differnt account is to go on a differnt computer

generally massively online muliplayer games don't do that. cause in may cases more than one person may use that computer.
They only ban people's IP in say.. counterstrike. (cause there are numerous other servers to go to)

I've heard about Gaia's problems with scripting hackers. It's not that hard to do, in fact I use scripts in the HTML game Archspace. It's a pain for the administrators because it creates needless website traffic, sucks up bandwidth and indeed is cheating depending on what the script does.
If you are a very active person on the website I can see how they might mistake you as a scripter, especially if a hacker was involved with one of your friends. Guilty by association is good enough for the lamebrain admins. That's how a buddy of mine got banned from Paypal. Now THAT sucks.
