Oddly enough... to not be related Matt looks like an older me... except I be blonde, and he speaks with a deep quasi-Boiston accent.MattSullivan wrote:

I myself speak a rare, but listen-to-able variation of Okish... or Oklahomese. Nah... Being a city boy myself, my Oklahoman accent is very stunted... You might catch me once in a while say Ya'll but unless I am trying to be western, I don't have much of a western drawl.

Well when you listen to people over the phone all day long, you pick up on a late of accents and inflextions in their voices.
As for your voice Matt, you have a deep rich voice... You do have that Boiston accent in there, but due to the fact that you haven't lived their, it is masked by the other tones that surround you. However, I bet you could nail it if you conciously thought about it.
Another thing I pick up on, is choice of words... I LOVE to hear a Yorker say Youses... it is about as bad as hearing on Okie say Ya'll... It is so improper it is truly ridiculous. You is both singular and plural... thus You All or Youses sort of doubles it.
I tend to pick up a lot of things with a conversation, that is why I love to have them... I analyze like that...
I listen to every inflextion, every pause... not that I am being obsessive or not, but that by listening I can tell if I want to be around this person or not...
I get told that I don't have much of an accent, but that is largely due to the blending of accents we have in the big city. You get out into the more country parts of OK, and yeah you get the long Oklahoma drawl. Redneck'n... Egads... Once in a while that twain will ripple out of my mouth, and it is just awful... Sometimes it is hard to control, because I don't want to sound like a redneck. I am very self conscious of my voice.
However, I think all of this Yorker exposure, might eventually make me start talking like em too!

How'd he get in my Mom's bathroom?
SRSLY.
She's probably almost as big a duckie collector as that guy.
Her bathroom and the laundry-room ALONE, counts to nearly 100 ducks and duck-themed items.
Candles, soapdishes, bathmats, plushies, curtains, coathangers, toilet-seat-covers...
Gah. They're EVERYWHERE.
