I just got to the forest temple WOOT

I went to sams club, of all places. They had 5 Wii's and I was second in line, waited from six to ten, got my wii, zelda which pwns, and exite truck, which i find to be medicore

all in all it was totally worth it to wait four hours in line.


PS has anyone else been able to acess the forcast, internet, or news channels?

I've tried but it keeps telling me that the Wii 24 channel thing is down or something. Maybe they didn't set it up yet??

And thats what I want to see, I would like less exclusive games to come out for systems. There should only be a handfull of games for each system that might be exclusive, the rest should be on all 3 or both PS3 and 360.

I haven't even made it out of the village yet.

I need to catch a fish to give to the cat before I can get the game to move forward, but no matter what I do, I can't catch a fish.

Do you have any secrets to catching fish with the bobber rod? I stand on the dock next to the cat and fish from there, and I bob it around for 45 minutes and lots of fish will tug on the line, but nothing ever happens. I try just holding it very very still...nothing. I try pulling back every time the bobber gets pulled down to try to snag them as they nibble on it...still nothing. ....nothing...nothing...nothing...

I can't buy a bottle to hold bait to make it easier, or buy a slingshot to get on with the game until I catch a stupid fish and the shopkeeper stops whining when the cat comes home.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.... I've checked online on the Nintendo Forums and many other people are having the same problem. Those lucky few who have gotten past it miraculously got it right in 15-minutes or less. After over 45-minutes of trying, I have only gotten the "Fish On" signal once. ONCE! ...and I didn't catch anything...

I'm so glad I also bought ExiteTruck to vent my frustration. It's mega unrealistic, and a little aquard to get used to the controls, but it's pure mindless fun. It has a great sense of speed, and you can drive like a complete maniac and still have a chance of winning. Many games that ask you to try to do stunts during a race frustrate me, but I actually think it really makes things more fun in this case. ...especially since it gives you bonus points for destroying trees and smashing other racers, along with spins drifting, airtime, etc.

Wii-Sports is very basic, but Fun.

I've not played Rayman:Raving Rabbids yet, but I intend to remedy that today.

They did it because they have nothing better to do. ...and because they are trolls. They did it just because they crave the attention they get for doing something they know other people won't like, or think is crazy.

I don't think it was any kind of attempt to protest the buying of either console...it was just an attention grabbing stunt.

FINALLY...

I figured it out. I was making two mistakes.

1. You need to hold the fishing rod low (so it is visible) to allow enough slack for the fish to pull the bobber deep down into the water. (I was holding it too high, so I was barely not pulling it out of the water.) When it gets pulled down DEEP, then you tilt the Wiimote back to pull back the fishing rod to try to snag one. Once "Fish On" appears, then I wiggle the Wiimote with the fishing pole up high, holding "B" untill I catch it. (I made the reeling motion as well, though I don't think it was making a difference.)

2. You need to be standing just far enough back on land so that when you DO catch a fish, and then let it go, you will drop it on the ground by your feet and the cat will snatch it.


...I am so glad to be finally past that so I can get to the actual GAME part of the game, and out of the intro section. ...except that I caught the fish just as it is time for me to leave for work...so I can't play any more.

Bummer.

The gale boomeranfg is....hmmm....OH! I think it's at the back of the temple and you have to fight a mini boss for it. As for the monkeys, go back to where you entered the temple and shoot down the hanging tresure chest. Inside is a compass which will tell you where all the monkeys are.

But i do not know how to get the chest down, I tried shooting it with my sling shot and it wouldnt fall, I also tried shooting the web above it

However, twilight princess is a absolutely amazing game, it is almost worth buying a wii just for that game

I'll be surprised if someone finishes it a few days after buying the Wii and the Zelda game.

Yeah, you can't, I know. This is what I found out so far about the Wii:
Early December: Release of more Colored Wiis
January: I think they will start selling the Wiis with the DVD player, not too sure about that though.

Now one more question, has anyone hear beaten death mountain, I have every light thingy but one which I figure is at the top, I cannot get past the guyser which constantly blows steam.
Any suggestions?

go back to the starting town. The one Link starts from in the begining of the game and go to the mayor. He will give you the iron boots...and a lesson in wrestling.
