TES (The Elder Scrolls) II: Daggerfall had (in addition to Werewolves) Wereboars.

Yes.

In Daggerfall Bacon eats you. As funny as it is, I think I remember from the bestiary that Wereboars (as an enemy) were slightly more powerful than werewolves, though in being one there was little difference between Werewolf and Wereboar.

Furthermore a book (which functioned as a thinly-vieled gameplay guide) in the game listed seven other lycanthropes in the lore of the world (though they don't appear in game or any subsequent games) including werecrocodiles (crikey!), werevultures (Haha), Werelions, Weresharks (that has got to suck...), and Werebears.

Quite the colorful collection.

One might postulate that each continent has a set or two of Were's, if the Were' is Viral. It would take the dominant Animal population as its form and use humans for the base.
Werewolves would probably be European in origin; while Africa might have Were-Lions (Baasti) and Were-Jackals (Anpuii); the Americas would have Were-Pumas (Pumans) and Were-Bears (Ursinii).
Asia would have Were-Tigers and Were-Bears, and Australia would have Were-'Roos and Were-Marsupial Wolves (forgot the name).
There could be a whole Were' sub-Population, worldwide...

I want a fruit bat for a pet. They're cute and friendly.

Give me a cheetah, a Harris's hawk, a fruit bat and a lemur and I'll consider the menagerie complete :)

Have a care, vrikasatma: you have assembled a menagerie that would consider each other to be "lunch". Especially the Cheetah...

I think it would be cool to see a weretasmanian devil. Not the looney tunes character, I'm taking about the real animal. Sure they're small but they've gotta be vicious to have the word devil in there name.

Tasmanian Devils are so cool. They are extemely deadly. They smell and have terrible high pitched screams. They are perfect killers. . . Peace to all the weretasmanian devils

They're not as vicious as you think. Just really aggressive.

It'll probably be the same case of misconception with wolverines and werewolverines, exaggerating their known behavior.

Werefishies!! That must suck to be a werefish though. I'd bet they would have to be in water almost all the time.
