All this talk of anime has got me thinking. *takes topic and throws it out a second story window* Vuldari, I must agree on Rurouni Kenshin. That anime was truly a masterpiece.
I was just thinking about a few things on the presentation of Freeborn. Perhaps an anime presentation (down the road, before or after the TV series, or as the TV series) followed up by a manga? Or perhaps I should probably get back to writing my own fiction and watch Freeborn become what it will.
I loathe DBZ, for not finding a darn power cap somehwere. There was one point (slightly prior to getting planetbusting power) that I figured that they'd tear their own bodies apart with the sheer amounts of energy coursing through their bodies. Sadly, they went on to SS3 instead.
Now, adding a sort of WW template to SSs is just, sick? Werewolves having their own set of powers (so to speak) is fine. However, it would have to stop at flying. The Suspension bridge of Disbelief is falling down, falling down right about that point.
It falls right down the same path as one taken by an old friend of mine who wanted me to let him play an elf/vampire/demon/werewolf because his character had a background that seemed as long as the whole DBZ series. I was able to put my concise answer in one word. "No." Mind you, this was for a D&D session too, and he was willing to drop his level from 67th to whatever was needed. Bah! Anything more than 20 ain't necessary!
