Of course, I'm worried, and you should be, too...

I haven't seen anything recent about the ever-postponed Elfquest movie. They were talking about it back around 1998 or 99, but then, it's been in discussion since the eighties. ("...I'm hungry like the wolfrider...")
For that matter, I haven't seen any new Elfquest comics in ages. I can't help but be concerned, too.

I call a vote of No Confidence in Chancellor Vallorum!

As usual, things are moving by standing still. Some days, you can't seem to make a movie about elves riding wolves on a world with two moons. But, if handing it over to DC means that it will get the thing made real, then I think it's good news.
I just hope the Elfquest movie gets made sometime soon, as we've only got about five billion years before the sun, having converted most of its hydrogen to helium, expands into a red giant and engulfs the Earth.

Gee whiz. I hope I live long enough to see that day.

I was just going through the old
"what's your favorite videogame?" thread and decided to watch the
video Figarou provided of his driving..."technique"...when I noticed the song that plays in the game, ("We are the Lazy Generation"), which reminded me of something...
It just so happens that I have another connection with a succesful musician. A member of the band is the son of my fathers cousin...or something like that. I met him at a wedding once and his father was sure to let EVERYONE know that his son was in a band called the
"FupS", and that they had record deals and everything...
...well, anyway...I was very suprised when I found out they had been chosen to provide one of the songs for the soundtrack in "Burnout 3".

Ok...so I know I said I wasn't going to make any posts until December 10th, but I just had to tell y'all this!
I met Ben Stein today! How cool is that?
He was very nice. We had a lovely discussion of my name. He's a really cool guy. He came to our school to talk about America and politics and all that good stuff. We actually might be going to eat with him in a little while.
So...what famous people have you met?

Besides Anthony Brownrigg? Well. . .
I'm pretty sure I've mentioned Courtney Cronin on this forum before. She's the comedian who's mother works in the same real estate office as my mother; the one that I was originally told I could write for, but who has instead encouraged me to write and perform my own material instead.
I also not only met, but
had a part-time job once working for Robert Bryan (from
Bert & I). Nice guy.
EDIT: And Searif just reminded me, I've met Sonia Weitz.

only two I can think of. Ted Turner shook his hand and talked a little and Pat Greene got autograph, shook hands and talked some. Oh and Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel if he counts. How I loathe him.
