Bah, stupid Disney, there were no werewolves in the Chronicles. There were just extra big talking wolves. I'm pretty sure the one in the trailer is Fenris Ulf.

There was a werewolf in the Chronicles of Narnia; however, it's role was very short-lived.

I remember
a meeting between Caspian and Dwarf Nikabrik. Nikabrik advocates turning to the White Witch for aid and power, but Caspian refuses. Nikabrik's companions then reveal themselves as a Hag and a Werewolf and attack Caspian. Peter and Edmund, who were listening outside, then burst in and slay them.
Or something like that. I don't have the books on hand right now.

Well it did pretty much look like a wolf. It's just that since it was talking we're apt to call it a werewolf.

I don't consider a talking wolf a "werewolf."

I would, since it's not like wolves have the ability to speak human lanugages.

Well, then. Would you consider this guy a werewolf?

Oh heck yeah! I just got back from the midnight opening of Chronicles! I am so proud of Disney for staying true to the book(on everything important at least)
I must say the werewolves on the witch's side were the best I've ever seen, although they didn't really have any variation in coat and were never shown for more than a fleeting moment.
The Gryphons and the phoenix were bloody awesome!

I just got back from seeing the movie. I thought the movie was awesome. The movie was on the same path of the book. I really liked how they kept the movie on track of the book. I am a little upset that they didn't show the werewolf for that long, but the movie was great.

:) If you go for anything, go to see the mythical creatures....Some of the best renditions i have scene. The werewolves that you do see are quite awesome and they do have tails. 8) You can even see a couple of them running into battle which is cool. The talking wolves are sweet also go check it out. I personally thought the movie was ok but the costumes, cg and just the mythical animal concepts were beautiful.

I just got back from seeing it myself. I have to agree with everyone really...a wonderful movie, and refreshingly faithful to the Book.

The werewolves were seen so briefly that I can't say what I thought about them. I barely even was able to catch a fleeting glimpse of them. You wouldn't even know they were in the film if you weren't looking for them. ...but everything else looked absolutely fantastic.

Everything important made it into the film. As a long time fan of the series, I give this film two Very Enthusiastic thumbs up.

Exquisite.

I never read the books, but, as someone who hasn't read them, I can safely say that it is easy to understand for people that haven't read the books (unlike the HP movies). It made total sense to me.

Aslan was....incredible. I can't begin to describe how beautiful he was. I always thought Simba would be my favorite lion...not anymore. Granted, he was a little bit huge for a lion, but aside from that (and the fact that he talked) he looked totally realistic.

In fact, I can say that for pretty much everything about this film. There wasn't really any point where I could just look at something and go "Oh, well that looks fake." EVERYTHING looked real.

I plan on reading the books now, I suppose.
