I'm sure they'll automatically go to persecution mode if NightmareHero comes back with his philosophy that women are just objects of strength and lust.

What bothers me is the fact that so many people seem to know about the whole..."knot" thing. I know because I worked on a wolf movie for 8 months and hadda do all kinds of research. But...ick...

Well, here I go. Now keep in mind that I have a mated werewolf couple so Ive had to think this through.

First, its not considered bestiality if the person keeps at least most of their human mind in wolf form...because then you can be sure that the person is consenting. And afterall, its still your mate damn it. Not just some random animal.

Second, (and somewhat off topic) I dont think werewolves would have sex in wolf form together too often. Wolf bodies are different and the females have no urge to do it outside mating season. However, if both partners are alright with it, they may do it with one in human form and one in wolf. Still dont think it would be enjoyable if the woman was the one is wolf form...size issues and all that.

Half form, Im sure would be like human form.

And Im sure that would scare the hell out of someone who didnt know what their lover was if they just changed during sex. But they should be able to control it and avoid one night stands on the full moon. :D

There's no need to do research when all you have to do is watch "Animal Planet" or the "National Geographic" channel.

That particular development is there for a reason: it's so the male has to stay around and talk, and not just roll over and go to sleep...

Nice use of a pun there, but I agree with you. Sex is more acceptible these days that it used to be. However, there are still people that can get offended by the subject if it goes to far.

That, and we DO have kids visiting this website.

Possibilities vary, depending on the partner's knowledge:

1. Partner who didn't know...

AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

2. Partner didn't know, but knows about werewolves...

A quick panic, followed by the realization that exposure leads to risk of getting infected; relationship is still shot, unless the partner wants lycanthropy--in which case, the awkwardness is followed with a newly invigorated relationship.

3. Partner knows...

Bleep! This post has performed an illegal operation and will now be shut down.

Yeah. It was only mildly funny the first two times I saw it. Plus it looks like the topic is dead anyways.

Well I don't think that would happen, no offense. You have to admit that if it were a night of the full moon they were would avoid that kind of action knowing what happens. Also I do believe if you are one for voluntary change then the were would most likely be skilled enough to control the change. However it would be strange to see your partners face when you do tell her/him, or show her/him that you are a werewolf. If it's true love I don't think it would matter if you were a werewolf or not.

It might not happen-or it might: certain activities bypass the civilized parts of our brains and go right for the practical and pragmatic sections of the mind in the so called "hind brain" at the back of the skull.
In the scene I wrote up (which isn't in either Wulfen Blood or Wulfen Honor), the female was (just as Harry pointed out) wanting to show her potential lifemate who and what she really was.
But, good ol' Civilization kept her from doing so, and she was afraid of losing him.
So...the Cerebellum took over and did the deed, realizing that since she had already innoculated him with the Viroid, she might as well come clean as to her nature.
He responded positively: She was particularly beautiful in Fur and Fang-at least to his eyes.
Trouble is, that there was a good chapter's worth of story there, and I didn't want to load up the forum with it, so I took the Moment. The Piece de resistance- and did a vignette.
Now that I think of it- I might try one of the Fur sites and just do that as a short story... :D

I just realised, wouldn't this situation be even worse for a werecat, because of the inevitable comparisons to a certain movie?

I'm an idiot when it comes to pop culture, so enlighten me. :D What movie would that be?
